"Lovely cottage, great location"
We had a great weekend in this lovely cottage, clean and beautifuly presented. It had everything we needed, and more!
Stayed with friends for a girly catch up and was perfect. We walked into the village and ate at 'The Oak' which was a lovely pub although food was hit and miss.
We went for a walk from Llanarmon DC and had lunch at 'The hand' which was really nice, would definately return.

"Not quite as expected..."
We have stayed in rented holiday accommodation for many years now and have clear requirements of what we both like and don't like. One thing that we don't like is staying in a part of the o… More
Thank you for your feedback and we're glad that the double bed was one of the best you've ever tried.
It is such a shame however that you didn't tell the owners that you didn't want the dog around – they could have easily taken him out of the way for you.
As for the cottage description, we don't feel that this was misleading because the cottage is actually detached and very private in the sense that the whole site has been designed and planted to maximise its privacy. This opinion is backed by the fact that no other guest has ever found this to be an issue at Bwthyn Ceiriog.
Following your comments however, we have now amended the description to emphasise that the owner's house is located adjacent to the cottage and customers can (as before) view a map of the site which shows the exact location of the cottage in relation to all its surroundings.
The cottage is also perfectly located to make the most of the stunning views and we're glad that these also made an impression on you.
We don't advertise the cottage as somewhere that is suitable for guests with mobility issues and we never have so we're not sure why this is mentioned in your review. Just to make this even clearer on the website, we have made the Access Statement as visible as possible on the description page.
We always appreciate constructive feedback and constantly aim to provide excellent service and accommodation to all our guests.
