About the home

A quiet, calm oasis for 2 tucked away in Anglesey with panoramic views of the Snowdonia mountain range and Cors Erddreiniog Nature Reserve. The Granary provides a stunning and peaceful location for you to relax and enjoy a well earned break.

Formally the grain store this cottage is essentially for two people. You enter the Granary into a stunning vaulted ceiling lounge/kitchen living area with stone tiled affect flooring which is complemented by a rich ruby red rug and a cosy multi fuel stove. The well-appointed luxury kitchen offers an oven and hob, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave and every piece of cooking equipment you will need to prepare a gourmet meal. The relaxing lounge area has a deluxe sofa and occasional recliner chair in beige and brown and there is a TV with DVD with freeview.

From the lounge there are patio doors leading to a open plan garden area where there is an outside table, chairs and a BBQ and you can enjoy summer days and evenings taking in the spectacular views over the rolling country side. The Granary has one luxury bedroom with an antique French double bed and matching wardrobe and separate luxurious bathroom with shower over the bath. This cottage has the advantage of a relaxing mezzanine providing additional living space and leather sofa bed.

At the end of a day's walking, fishing or exploring the Island relax on the patio with a cup of tea or a glass of wine!

The Granary is one of three spacious cottages designed for 2 or 3 people. The Granary and The Shippon have large mezzanines with sofa beds. The Dairy has the advantage of a wet room with level access shower and plenty of room to accommodate people using walking frames or wheelchairs.

Further details outdoors:
As well as their own private garden and patio guests also have access to extensive grounds which include a communal barbecue area and fire pit.

There are dog drying facilities with towels provided and access to a shared washing machine & drier.

At Llidiart Twrcelyn we generate our own electricity using recycled vegetable oil as a fuel source and sell the surplus electricity generated back to the National Grid. We recycle everything we possibly can and ask guests to do the same!

Fresh flowers and a welcome basket, containing home baked bread & Bara Brith, wine, Welsh cheese, cheese biscuits & chutney, home made jam & marmalade, tea & coffee, milk & orange juice await your arrival.

Guests can cater for themselves or take advantage of the home baked bread, cakes and seasonally changing meals prepared in the farmhouse.

Book a track day and go motor racing at Ty Croes, one of Britain’s friendliest and most exciting circuits. Hop on a boat for an exhilarating trip to the spectacular Skerries Lighthouse, Puffin Island or beyond.

Discover the Isle of Anglesey’s great indoors in any weather, too. We have four leisure centres offering great sporting opportunities, from swimming to squash.

The Llangefni / Capel Coch area

Llidiart Twrcelyn is tucked away on the outskirts of the small village of Capel Coch with panoramic views of the Snowdonia mountain range and the Cors Erddreiniog National Nature Reserve.

Although it's ‘off the beaten track’ within minutes you can be enjoying the extensive walking, fishing, cycling or golfing opportunities available on Anglesey. Guests who enjoy walking and wildlife will be particularly interested by the close proximity of Cors Erddreiniog National Nature Reserve which has an international reputation for its unusual and diverse vegetation. There is a profusion of orchids, insectivorous plants, rare giant algae, dazzling dragonflies, grasshopper warblers and waterfowl.

How about treating yourself to a facial, a massage or other beauty treatments? We can arrange for Karen, our visiting Beauty Therapist, to visit during your stay.

Ideally located for exploring Anglesey (and Snowdonia National Park is only half an hours drive away), The Granary is a luxury cottage with everything you need for a great holiday!
