4 star, 3 bedroomed wheelchair accessible holiday bungalow, very spacious and well equipped, large kitchen/diner, spacious lounge with access to private balcony, a superking bedroom, and two twin-bedded rooms. Wet-room has roll-in shower, whb. toilet and bath, lots of grab rails. Separate toilet. Ideal for a relaxing holiday away from it all. Suitable for family groups, friends wanting to get away from it all and enjoy walking in the countryside. Ideally suited to clients and carers to enjoy a complete change of scenery. We have additional equipment for guests with limited mobility, details on request. Access Statement. Hoist - £20 pw. This is towards payment for servicing. For those who can, try our woodland walk which wends its way around an acre of hill, beside a pond, crosses bridges, down 85 steps to the side of a stream, all very quiet and peaceful. Or rest on the benches at the highest points to admire the view, sit quietly to hear and see the birds.

As we live on site we will be here to welcome you on your arrival and show you into Swallow Cottage, and be available to answer any questions you may have. If you have any problems during your stay, we are pleased to help or assist if possible. House rules

Pets are welcome and there is a small charge payable on arrival, but please keep them out of the bedrooms and off the furniture. If pets are walked in the fields please use a lead as there are sheep grazing. Our acre of woodland is ideal for walking dogs as it is sheep-free, but please use the boot scapers/brushes for your muddy footwear and leave them outside the door.
Please recycle as much as possible, refuse collection is every 3 weeks, recycling collection every week.

Why can't I call Ann (the owner) before booking?

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I cancel my booking?

Go to Manage your holiday booking to cancel your booking. Here you can view your cancellation policy to see if you’ll be refunded.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Ann (the owner) a message.

If Ann (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
