"Amazing apartment!"

What a beautiful apartment to spend Christmas in!! I stayed here for a few days over Christmas with my family and took everything i thought i would need, however was no need for a lot of this as the apartment is excellently equipped and even had Christmas decorations put up for us! The accomodation was immaculate and everything was beautifully done, it was an absolute pleasure to be there. The views are out of this world and made all the more impressive by the changeable weather we had, watching the hail, rain and glorious sunshine from the living room balcony windows was pretty good. Thank you so much!

"Wish you were here"

You know when you find a place that's special - well this is one of them. We had the best long weekend staying at this beautiful, spacious and very comfortable penthouse apartment where the stunning view out over the estuary constantly changed.......we found we couldn't take our eyes off it. When we ventured out from the warmth of the apartment each morning we got down to some semi serious walking along the millennium path, chatting with the friendly locals along the way. We visited Laugharne (Dylan Thomas country, a 40 minute drive away) for a delicious lunch and another walk, taking in the history of the place. A wonderful few days was had by all, the views from the apartment made it.

"Fabulous views, first class apartment and excellent holiday location."

We spent the first week in June at Sandbanks apartment and it exceeded all of our expectations. The apartment really is first class with all of the key ammenities and is very spacious. The views from the apartment are stunning, looking over the sand flats and watching the tide come in or out from either the master bedroom or the lounge is a real joy. The apartment was also spottlesly clean and the fridge was stocked with a welcoming bottle of wine, welshcakes and milk for teas and coffee. This really was a nice touch!

There was much more to do in the locality than we had first expected. We used the coastal path to walk to burryport, watching a little cricket at the pavillion on the way and then an ice cream in the harbour. There are 2 bikes available to use and in all honesty you could spend alot of time cycling or walking locally but being so close to the gower peninsula we ventured out that direction most days.

The gower peninsula is only 20 minutes away and we spent a lovely day at three cliffs bay. This really is one you must visit as it is a real natural beauty. Another day we ventured further round the gower to llanmadoc to start our walk to see the lighthouse which you can see from the apartment. We timed it just right and managed to walk all the way out to the lighthouse from the deserted white sandy beach. A gloriously sunny day and stunning views.

The train runs from llanelli town all the way down the coast and we had a really nice day trip to Tenby viewing the coast all the way. Highly recommended as a day trip particularly with kids.

Within an hour you can also access the pembrokeshire coastline and we spent a lovely day in the market town of Narbeth with afternoon at slebech park hotel sitting in the sunshine. This was once again a real treat just sitting in the sun with a cold drink, welshcakes and cream scones.

Our last day we went to the local restaurant Sosban. This is within 5 minutes walk of the apartement and offers a very good menu. We went for the lunchtime menu and they offered a 3 course meal for £17. The food was really superb and service and facilities really impressive. We highly recommend going here if you have got time. We finished off the day with a trip to Llansteffan and this is a real hidden treasure with a gorgeous castle on a hill and views all around.

So in summary, a fabulous week, a gorgeous location, stunning apartment and we will definitely be back. We dont have children at the moment but are expecting soon and noticed that the apartment is suitable for a child aswell. There is a high chair, a baby gate that could be fitted, a cot, safe balconies. We cannot wait to come back after the baby is born.

"A perfect base for a Welsh coastal holiday"

OK the weather was not great, but the area had so much to do for a young girl of 4 (and her parents) that it did not matter. The apartment was spotless, had great views and everything was catered for, and you just had to open the balcony windows to smell the sea and photograph a sunset on the beach. Fantastic. Could not recommend it highly enough.
