Sandbanks is a 3 bedroom/2 bathroom penthouse apartment with stunning, ever-changing sea views. Situated on the Millenium Coastal Path the apartment is ideally situated for walking or cycling by the sea. The path runs for 22km and is mainly flat and tarmac.
Millenium Quay is a residential developement on the site of the old Llanelli docks Constructed at the same time as the Millenium Coastal Path the area is within walking distance of Llanelli town centre and yet is delightfully peaceful. The apartment is on the 3rd and 4th floor of a block of 8 apartments. Please note there is no lift. Sandbanks is beautifully decorated with modern furnishings making the most of its large windows and sea views. The open plan living area incorporates a lounge with leather L-shaped suite and wall mounted TV/DVD player, a dining area seating 6 and a comprehensively fitted kitchen including dishwasher and washer/drier. A storage cupboard houses an iron, ironing board, airer, games, books and a large DVD collection. To complete the modern look the floor is tiled and has under-floor heating. The front balcony catches the morning sun and is ideal for an al-fresco breakfast with views towards Llanelli. The rear balcony overlooks the coastal path and sandy beach. This faces south-west and catches the afternoon sun and evening sunsets. Outside seating for 6 is provided. The glass balconies allow uninterrupted views of the Lougher Estuary, its sandbanks (hence the name) and constantly changing tides with views towards Burry Port and the Gower peninsula.
The 3 bedrooms are carpeted with quality carpet and the bedding is white or cream. Heating throughout the apartment is electric. The master has a king sized bed, walk in closet, drawers and bed side cabinets. The TV/DVD player is wall mounted. Large patio doors give wonderful sea views and lead out to a balcony. The ensuite incorporates a large tiled shower cubicle with glass doors and powerful shower. Bedrooms 2 has zip/link beds that can be made up as double or single beds depending on your requirements. Bedroom 3 has a single bed with a guest bed underneath so this room can be made up as 1 single, 2 singles or a double bed. Both rooms have fitted mirror wardrobes and bedside drawers. Bedroom 2 has a wall mounted TV/DVD player and all bedrooms have a hairdrier and ample coathangers. A cot, high chair and baby gates are available should you need them. The family bathroom has a curved bath with over bath shower. All bedding, towels and utilities are included in the price. The apartment is regularly used by the owners and therefore is well maintained and has all you need for your holiday including a comprehensive DVD library with over 60 titles. A complimentary welcome pack is included in the price. The contents depend on the length of your booking but generally include some tea/coffee and something sweet to help you unwind after your journey.

Carmarthenshire is a county full of plenty to do and see with its beautiful beaches, stunning countryside and history galore. There is something for all the family from theme parks (Oakwood) to zoo parks (eg.Folly Farm) to castles (eg.Kidwelly) to amazing beaches (eg Cefn Sidan) to historical houses (eg. National Trust's Dinefwr) to gardens (eg.National Botanic Gardens of Wales). The nearby Gower penisula has Wales' best collection of unspoilt beaches ideal for walking or surfing and is definitely worth a visit. Swansea is 20 minutes away with all the facilities the city has to offer including the National Maritime Museum, LC2 swimming pool and 8km prom.
Llanelli is a seaside town enjoying regeneration. The creation of the Millenium Coastal Park has given the area a beautiful place to walk, cycle and enjoy the beach. The town itself has a vibrant indoor market, a new cinema complex, an industrial heritage and many good places to eat including the award winning 'Sosban' which is within 5 mins walk of the apartment (voted The Good Food Guide Welsh Restaurant of the Year 2013 + awarded the AA Welsh Restaurant of the Year 2012/13). The Trostre shopping park is 10 minutes drive away housing all the best high street names plus eateries. There are many golf courses nearby including the Jack Nicklaus designed Machynys which is within 2 miles of the apartment. Horse racing is at nearby Ffos Las and rugby at Parc y Scarlets. The Wetlands is fun for all ages and is only 5 minutes drive away. There are lots of birds to see and feed or, for the more serious bird watcher, hides to sit in and view the migratory birds in their natural surroundings. Kite surfing is popular on Llanelli beach with lessons available from the experts. There are many cafes and pubs in the locality including many within walking distance.

"Perfect views with all the comforts of home and more!"
This penthouse apartment was perfect for my family including my one year old grandson. Alison and Paul made sure we had a cot , high chair, stair gates, plug covers and little cups, bowls and baby spoons.
We just walked a few meters outdoors in order to enjoy the ( almost deserted ) sandy, safe beach. No cars to contend with. The air quality is superb and the coastal path beautiful and gently undulating. We had use of the bikes too.
The best day was spent on a deserted beach just over three miles along the path.
Everything at Sandbanks was very comfortable and clean. We had a wonderful time and will return one day!!

"Superb sea/sunset view 5* apartment with all mod cons"
I'm very picky when it comes to vacation rentals, and can happily say Sandbanks is a 5* apartment in every way.
Fully equipped with everything you can think of (unlike the 5* apartment we're currently staying at in Tenby), plus amazing sea/sunset views.
Also great value, probably as a result of Llanelli not being a typical holiday destination.
Having said that, places like Sosbans restaurant, which is a short walk away, made Llanelli an unexpected pleasure too.
Also got a great M&S at nearby Parc Trostre, if you're a supermarket snob like me ;-)

"Fantastic break by the sea"
A beautiful and luxurious apartment, fully equipped with everything that we could possibly need. A trip to Sosban was enjoyable too. The area was a good base from which to travel to other places of interest. We had great communication with Alison throughout and would highly recommend this holiday rental.

We booked this appartment for an extended weekend break with our family. It served the pupose beauitifully, three large double rooms for 6 adults and an upstairs lounge and kitchen area to socialise. You only have to look out at the breathtaking view , or sit on the veranda and you are on holiday! Would definately recommend and we all hope to visit again soon.

Amazing apartment overlooking the beach which is perfect if you want a lovely relaxing break. The apartment is so clean and has everything you need. Great for walks along the coastal path/beach. Really peaceful stay. Can't fault anything about this apartment at all. If you're thinking about booking it- do it!

What a beautiful apartment to spend Christmas in!! I stayed here for a few days over Christmas with my family and took everything i thought i would need, however was no need for a lot of this as the apartment is excellently equipped and even had Christmas decorations put up for us! The accomodation was immaculate and everything was beautifully done, it was an absolute pleasure to be there. The views are out of this world and made all the more impressive by the changeable weather we had, watching the hail, rain and glorious sunshine from the living room balcony windows was pretty good. Thank you so much!
