Llanelli is a coastal town in carmarthenshire and is approximately 10 miles from swansea. Historicall Llanelli developed during the 18 7 19th centuries as a mining and tinplate town, it is home to one of the worlds most famous rugby football teams 'the scarlets'. The most recent attraction is the new Machhynys golf and country club, the course being designed by jack nicklaus. Llanelli has also hosted the Welsh national eisteddfod 4 times the most recent in 2004. The town has seen massive redevelopment over the last 10 years which has made it a huge tourist attraction.

The millenium coastal path spans 13 miles of coastline from Loughor to pembrey, offering views of the Gower penisula and an opportunity to cycle or walk traffic free. Pembrey country park is situated on the outskirts of llanelli and consists of 500 acres of parkland, 7 miles of golden beaches and forestry.Cefn Sidan beach has been awarde blue flag status, it is patrolled daily by lifeguards. The park hosts many events throughout the year along wiyh many family activities, including concerts, sailing , surfing, beach sports etc. The national wetland centre is located on the ramsar of the bury inlet the WWT innovative centre at llanelli is the forefront of wetland conservation in wales, its newest feature being the millenium wetlands complex home to wildlife as diverse as the little eagret , curlews, and rear dragonflys. machynys golf course is 7100 yards long, 18 holes links course and blends really well with its natural celtic beauty, the club also has a brasserie, restaurant and spa.

How to get there

On the south west coastline, 0ne hour from cardiff international airport, and 3 hours from paddington train station London .LLanelli is easy to access from the M4 motorway ( junction 48 ).A regular train service to and from the towns railway station and a national bus service allows tourists to access the town . The large city of swansea is just 20 minutes east of the town ,with the beautiful former capital of wales, carmarthen, 15 minutes to the west .

The apartment is tastefully furnished and consists of open plan 'studio' lounge / diner / kitchen, a bathroom , 0ne spacious double room and one twin bedroom with ample storage space. it has a private terrace / balcony to sit and enjoy the spectacular views, it also has its own parking lot.

Well maintained gardens and surrounds with promenade, outside complex is well illuminated in the evenings , a very safe location for children and families, with a great seafront location, you can access the beach with immeadiate affect. walking distance into yhe town, cinema, restaurants and supermarkets.

There are no pets allowed , no smoking indoors, clean linen and a change of linen is included within the costs, . beach towels are not included ( please do not use apartment towels on the beach) thank you.
