This penthouse offers excellent accommodation over two storeys at the Millennium Quay, Llanelli. The beach and the superb Millennium Coastal Park are within approximately 200 yards.
The penthouse in furnished to a high standard. It is accessed from the third floor of the apartment block, there is NO lift.
The open-plan living room is spacious and light with separate areas for dining and sitting. There are full length balconies on both sides with balcony furniture. The dining/Seaside area balcony gets the morning sun and Pentre Doc balcony has the sun from late morning onwards and is the ideal place to view the magnificent sunsets over the Loughar estuary. This side also benefits from allowing you to view from a distance the town of Llanelli and the city of Swansea and the light shows late a night is amazing with the reflections on the former dock outside the apartment.
The kitchen is modern and clean and has a ceramic hob with cooker hood over, electric oven, large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer dryer, electric kettle, toaster, iron and ironing board. There are full-length balconies on both sides of the kitchen/living area with balcony furniture and a smaller balcony for the master bedroom. There is a LCD TV with in the living room with free view, DVD player, radio, X-box and games, CD player, a selection of DVDs. Added to this is complimentary tea and coffee.In the kitchekn you will also find foil, cling film, paper towel, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, washing powder and conditioner, tea towels, dish clothes and oven gloves.
In the bathrooms you will find shower gel, soap and loo paper
The beach outside the apartment along the millennium coastal path allows for a Large play area for children. There is one designated parking space and further visitor parking and bike storage sheds available. There is a visitor centre just a short walk from the penthouse, the staff are very helpful and will answer all your questions. You can hires bikes from here. There is also a cafeteria and an ice-cream shop nearby as well as Michelin 5 star restaurant called “sosban” recently opened directly opposite the penthouse which you will see from the top balcony. The added benefit is the peace and quiet and while being in a penthouse it provides a quiet tranquil location. There are lots of visitor attractions nearby and ample leaflets at the penthouse with details.
The Millennium Coastal Park is 10 miles of coastline on the Burry estuary between Burry Port and Llanelli and has views over the bay to the Gower Peninsula. The Coastal Park offers many attractive features including a continuous 11 km traffic-free cycle/footpath, the National Wetlands Centre for Wales, and a popular Championship Links Golf Course.
There are harbours at Burry Port and Pembrey and many things to do and see in the area including the Millennium Quay and the Discovery Centre. Llanelli has a proud Welsh history in both rugby and brewing being the home of the Felinfoel brewery and the Llanelli Scarlets rugby team.It also has a good shopping centre with a selection of high street shops.
There are plenty of places to visit within easy driving distance including the National Botanic Garden of Wales, Aberglasney Gardens, Kidwelly Castle, Pembrey Country Park with 500 acres of parkland and the 8 miles of Cefn Sidan sands. Pembrey also has a motor racing circuit. Swansea and Carmarthen are both a short drive away and the Gower peninsula is within easy reach and has numerous beautiful beaches. ENTRY LEVEL
The MASTER BEDROOM is very spacious and has double bed, bedroom furniture and patio doors opening out onto a balcony with decking and Perspex barrier and views of the old dock. All the beds will be made up with fresh linen for your arrival and towels are provided.There is a walk in wardrobe and an EN SUITE SHOWER ROOM comprising of a modern suite of double shower cubicle, WC and was hand basin in vanity unit. Also child cot available that doubles up as a play pen.
BEDROOM 2 has a twin beds, bedside tables, chest of drawers, wardrobe and a Juliet balcony with a sea glimpse.
BEDROOM 3 has a single bed, with a further pull out bed underneath for occasional use, bedside table, chest of drawers, wardrobe and a sea glimpse.
FAMILY BATHROOM has a contemporary suite of curved shower bath, with shower over, modern sink in vanity unit, low level WC and heated towel rail.
FIRST FLOOR
Stairs lead from this floor to the open plan KITCHEN, LIVING AND DINING ROOM which enjoy great views of the old dock that is now used for leisure purposes.
SITTING AREA has a comfortable leather suite, flat screen colour TV with digital receiver, occasional furniture, a nest of tables and doors to the balcony.
The KITCHEN AREA has a range of fitted units incorporating an electric hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave oven and an automatic washer / dryer.
The DINING AREA has a dining table and 6 chairs and a patio door to the balcony.

Accommodation was super, clean and all mod cons, beautiful views. Good base to get out and about, in the car, to all the wonderful beaches and mountains nearby.
