The West Wales / Pembrokeshire / Ceredigion region
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls. Climb Snowdon, which at 1085m is Wales’ highest mountain, or travel to the summit in style on the charming Mountain Railway. Alternatively, why not sample the beautiful green valley of Llangollen by steam train or from a leisurely horse-drawn canal boat.
In July, the annual Llangollen Eisteddfod transforms the town into a unique centre of international music and dance, attracting musicians and singers from across the globe.You could also explore the beautiful coastline, safe sandy beaches and watersports of the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as Colwyn Bay, historic Conwy, Victorian Llandudno or the Isle of Anglesey on the north coast. To the south, there’s the lovely Brecon Beacons National Park, a haven of rugged moorland, forests and mountains that’s just perfect for nature lovers and walkers.
Finally, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is renowned for its wildlife, stunning coastal scenery, superb beaches and as the home of Britain’s smallest city, the City of St David’s.
The Llandysul / Croes-Lan area
Set in beautiful Welsh countryside, the rural village of Croeslan offers a village store, an off licence and a post office and a number of great walking opportunities in the stunning, surrounding area. Close by is the picturesque village of Cenarth which is located close to the River Teifi; a spot renowned for its excellent fishing and breathtaking waterfall. The area is an excellent place for nature lovers and bird watchers as the Wildlife Centre at Cilgerran offers a number of great facilities. The town’s castle is also worth visiting. Cardigan Bay – famous for its dolphin and seal populations – is within easy driving distance and not only offers the chance to see incredible sea creatures in the wild, but also some fantastic Blue Flag status beaches, ideal for a family seaside break.

,This cottage was fabulous and so were the little extras on arrival including fresh flowers, tea, coffee, toffee waffles & a pint of milk. The owners whilst living next door, left us to enjoy our holiday, but were very friendly and always on hand to give us some advice on what to do and where to go. The location was very peaceful but only a short journey from some lovely places to visit. We were given the use of the paddock & garden for the dogs. The owners had pretty much thought of everything and we had a fantastic holiday. We have already recommended this cottage to our family and friends. Thank you for a lovely holiday!

,Very comfortable cottage and a warm welcome from the owners. Appreciated milk/coffee/tea/biscuits and flowers upon arrival. Lovely position and quiet. Main towns of Newquay, Newcastle Emlyn and Cardigan within easy reach by car. Also secure/safe garden and paddock for the dog. Owners were on hand for advice if needed but not intrusive. No hesitation in recommending to others.

Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
