The North Wales / Denbigh/Flint/Conwy region

North Wales is a fabulous place to visit at any time of the year. For garden lovers there's the famous Bodnant Gardens. For adrenalin junkies there are a number of high rope centres. We have great local walks in & around Betws-y-Coed & obviously there's the Snowdonia National Park. At a slightly slower pace there are woollen mills to visit or maybe drop into 'Pritchard's Reclamation' (famous for the recently aired Salvage Hunters) where you might find a quirky memento of your visit to North Wales. Ever popular with children & parents alike is the Welsh Mountain zoo just down the road in Colwyn Bay. A little further away is the award winning Greenwood Forest Park, a brilliant eco-friendly family day out with it's kinetic powered rollercoaster.
The Llandudno / Llandudno Town area
Steeped in Victorian history, Llandudno is regarded by many as 'The Queen of Welsh Resorts'. Whether it's a 'bucket & spade' family break or a cultural tour of North Wales' castles, Llandudno is an ideal base. Part of Conwy County, Llandudno is the largest resort in Wales & is easily accessible by road or rail. Popular Llandudno attractions include the ski slope, copper mines & cable car all situated on the Great Orme. Or maybe a stroll down the pier & then the promenade admiring the beautiful architecture as you head toward Venue Cymru, Llandudno's celebrated theatre & conference centre. The newly refurbished Mostyn gallery is well worth a visit even if it's just for a snack in it's modern cafe or to browse in the shop at the Welsh crafts. If you 're feeling a little more energetic you could try 'Invalids Walk' (yes, that really is what it's called!) taking you to West shore where you can look across to Anglesey. Maybe you'd prefer to walk around the Great Orme itself where you might spot one of our famous Kashmir goats.

Guestbook for Escape Cottage
Gaenor & Sam, You have a glorious cottage. Thank you for making us so welcome. We all want to take the comfy beds home with us. Great to catch the rays on the decking. What a great view! I have never known Poppy dog to be so relaxed. Sea air & great walks. Be sure to be back one of these days!
Emma Barton - Doctor in the House, Venue Cymru.
Lovely cottage with a warm welcome. Nice touches for our son (3). Loved the views of course. The cottage was extremely cosy particularly due to the comfy bed & the cozy duvet. Everything was immaculate & would love to come back.
David, Laura & Robbie - Glasgow.
Our stay here has been delightful. We absolutely love Escape Cottage. A perfect place to celebrate a 50th birthday. If had to decide whether or not I'd like to come back I'd have to say 'no' - but only because I actually don't want to leave!
Jonathan, Carol, Stanley & Archie - Lancaster.
