Hengoed was wonderful, Mark (Owner) was quick to respond to all of our enquiries right from the start, very reasonably priced for the amazing quality that is on offer, this place is finished to perfection and stands tall among the many others that we have stayed at!. Exceptionally equipped with EVERYTHING that you could want, me and the wife would say "Very posh" Superbly situated with great walking in all directions, without going far you can walk in the woods at the end of the road, or up onto the hills behind the house, there is even a little park for the kids 2 minutes walk away, for the more adventurous try walking up the little Orme, then great Orme and over to Conwy via the beach...wow it makes you feel alive. Lots of places to eat in Llandudno, Rhos and even around the corner if you don't want to go far!, we opted for cooking pasta one night and curry another in the cottage as sitting in that dining room, candles lit and Jazz F.M playing seemed too nice an opportunity to waste. The cottage is in a very quiet village, silent at night time apart from the odd car passing, never had any issues in this village as we have stayed in other rentals within the village for many years, the villagers are very friendly, parking was fine on the road/pavement no worries, and what nice way to wind down than relaxing with a glass or 2 of wine either on that lovely front decking above the tree's or sitting with a film, candles and wine and a view that is wonderful....Thanks Mark, hope to visit again SOON, Dan Lisa & Grace x Response: Hi Dan, thank you so much for your kind review. Im so pleased you and your family enjoyed your stay at Hengoed and would love to welcome you back to the cottage in the near future. Regards. Mark Harvey |
