The Llandrindod Wells / Crossgates area
Set in the wonderful wooded hills in Mid Wales, the scattered village of Crossgates has a post office, general store, pub and petrol station. With trails and paths meandering their way through woodland and along rivers, the village offers magnificent walking. For more challenging terrain, the nearby Cambrian Mountains or the spectacular Brecon Beacons are just a short drive away. Also in the region and boasting a variety of shops, museums, craft centres, pubs, tea-rooms and restaurants are the towns of Llandrindod Wells, Rhayader and Builth Wells. Rhayader is also home to a fantastic Red Kite feeding station, offering magnificent opportunities to see these beautiful birds at close range. The Phil Price Rally School is also close by, but for those intent on peace and quiet the Elan Valley Lakes make a stunning place to spend a sunny day.

Magnolia Villa is large and roomy, the underfloor heating was delightful. The entire property was truly a delight. It was in a nice rural area and very quiet. It's a place we'd very much like to rent again.

,The cottage is convenient for walking and visiting areas of interest in Mid-Wales. The cottage offers very spacious and comfortable accommodation and is child friendly both inside and outside. The parking was super and there was no noticeable road noise. We will consider returning.

Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
