The Long Barn was converted in 2013 to the highest standards. It is a semi detached layout with separate entrances to two three bedroom units, each with its own kitchen and living area. High Barn sleeps 5 (2 double & 1 single; 3 bathrooms) with Merlin Barn accommodating 6 (2 doubles, Twin, 2 bathrooms). It is ideal for larger groups with a balance of community and privacy. Everyone can gather together in the Merlin Barn to dine. Each barn has sofas to sit 6 (12 in total). There is also a Communal Garden Building shared with another cottage with a games room (snooker/pool, games, books, guides etc), laundry room and boot room. There is an 'A' rated gas central heating system which keeps the barn lovely and warm. For great atmosphere, there are two log burners in the main reception rooms.

Merlin Barn has been graded 4 Stars by VisitWales scoring 85% overall; almost 5 Stars which is 87%!

High barn has also been awarded 4 stars following a recent grading visit.

Merlin Cottages are located in the Heart of Wales just 4 miles from the ancient town of Llandovery. The town is famous for having one of the first banks in the UK for the drovers who took vast herds of livestock from Wales to London. It is the gateway to the Western Brecon Beacons National Park with great motoring, cycling and walking on its peaceful and tranquil roads. The scenery in all directions is stunning with wonderful unpolluted night skies. The area is surrounded by quaint towns steeped in history including Brecon, Llandeilo, Carmarthen and Lampeter.
