Robin Cottage is one of 5 cottages available at Maesydderwen Holiday Cottages and offers a peaceful getaway in an idyllic location on the Western fringes of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Located 3 miles from the market town of Llandeilo, home to boutique shops, tea rooms, ice-cream parlour and music, food and art festivals throughout the year.

The cottage has its own raised private patio with 2 steps down to a large grass area overlooking a wetland which is a former lake, it is ideal for birdwatchers with Red Kites, Woodpeckers, Heron, Siskins, Redstarts, Cuckoo, Nuthatches, Tree creepers all only feet away from the cottage's patio area where you can relax in the hot tub whilst you watch them with a glass of wine. There is also plenty of space for children to play ball games, etc. The cottage is available for families, couples or can be booked with our other properties for larger parties.

There are walks from the cottage door and throughout the surrounding area including the Brecon Beacons and Brechfa Forest which also has a network of cycle tracks. Maesydderwen is only 1 mile from the Beacons Way making it an ideal luxury stopover point. Other cycle routes are available in the Brecon Beacons or as part of the National Cycle Network e.g. Millennium Coastal Path at Pembrey Country Park.

We are glad you appreciated the fantastic location. We don't allow additional visitors on site anytime (not a Covid related rule). The local area has lots of places guests can meet friends and family for coffee, etc. This is very clear in all of our pre arrival information and welcome pack in the cottage. We have never had guests find us unwelcoming before.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I edit my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your holiday booking page. To change your holiday dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Angela (the owner) a message.

If Angela (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your holiday booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
