Carmarthenshire region

Carmarthenshire is central to South Wales with easy access to the Brecon Beacon's National Park and Pembrokshire National Park. To add to it's many smaller country parks, with a short drive you could be enjoying the Gower Peninsular one day and the mountain peaks and trails the next.

Pembrokeshire Coast national Park in the south west is a favourite holiday destination, with miles of coastal footpaths and wonderful seascapes; lots of Blue Flag beaches and seas rich in marine life. Further east Carmarthenshire also has lots to attract holidaymakers, with historic castles, mountains, rivers and of course coastline. No matter where you choose your never too far away from mountains and the sea and of course there is the thriving cities of Cardiff and Swansea to visit, where you'll find lots of first class shops, cafes and restaurants.

Llandeilo is a small boutique town set on the outskirts of the Brecon Beacon's National Park. With a rich Welsh heritage and central location, Llandeilo can offer a fantastic country break to families or couples of all ages.

"WOW!! Fantastic property, awesome views, peaceful &[--] off the beaten track"

Can't praise this place enough, the barn has been renovated with sympathy and great taste and my husband and I enjoyed several peaceful and restful days with our 2 children (12 & 14).... just what we needed after a very busy few months. The views are incredible, the barn interior is just gorgeous and would recommend trying the ice-creams in the shop in town (huge!).... Didn't even mind when it rained, fantastic watching the clouds come over the hills, and listening to it pounding on the skylights! Thank you to Jason & Erin for a fabulous vacation, would definitely book again and will recommend to friends/family. Julia & Jay.

"Fantastic Barn conversion, Can[--]t wait to go back - Book up now to see for yourself!!"

We stayed at Tirylan Barn on the August Bank Holiday for a few nights. We had such a great time. The barn is situated in a lovely peaceful setting. Although there are restaurants close by we wanted to make the most of our time in the barn and ending up having our evening meals in. Jason and Elin were so welcoming and so helpful right from the moment of booking.. from suggesting places to visit, to being there for us if we needed them during our stay. The barn is light and spacious, it is decorated to the highest of standards and is kitted out with quality appliances. The bedrooms have ample space and the beds are comfortable. Everything was spotless. They have taken great attention to detail in everyway. We can't wait to return soon!!!! Thanks so much Jason and Elin... We had the best time!!!

"A wonderful contempory barn with fantastic views of the Brecon Valley."

We had a lovely relaxing week in Tirylan Barn, the owners are a wonderful hands-on young couple and very helpful. It was a great base for visiting all of the South of Wales and we'll definately be staying there again soon.

"An absolute gem of a place to stay, warm welcome and a beautiful location."

We were let down on another holiday so had to make a last minute decision. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome and we could not fault the location or the accommodation. The owners were obviously proud of what they had achieved and rightly so. We were looking for a hideaway to relax in and we certainly found it here. The views were stunning and the level of finish in the barn was very high, our two dogs were also made to feel welcome and they loved the walks in the fields as did our children. Thank you to Jason and his family for making us so welcome, we will certainly be back!
