The North Wales / Snowdonia/Gwynedd region
Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. Snowdonia National Park, situated in North Wales, boasts breathtaking mountain scenery, crystal clear lakes and cascading waterfalls. Climb Snowdon, which at 1085m is Wales’ highest mountain, or travel to the summit in style on the charming Mountain Railway. Alternatively, why not sample the beautiful green valley of Llangollen by steam train or from a leisurely horse-drawn canal boat. In July, the annual Llangollen Eisteddfod transforms the town into a unique centre of international music and dance, attracting musicians and singers from across the globe.You could also explore the beautiful coastline, safe sandy beaches and watersports of the Lleyn Peninsula, as well as Colwyn Bay, historic Conwy, Victorian Llandudno or the Isle of Anglesey on the north coast. To the south, there’s the lovely Brecon Beacons National Park, a haven of rugged moorland, forests and mountains that’s just perfect for nature lovers and walkers. Finally, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is renowned for its wildlife, stunning coastal scenery, superb beaches and as the home of Britain’s smallest city, the City of St David’s.
The Llanberis area
Flanked by two lakes - Llyn Padarn and Llyn Peris – the lovely town of Llanberis is set beneath the grandeur of the Snowdon Massif and is one of the most popular mountain tourist centres in the Snowdonia National Park. A popular base for walkers and ramblers, this quaint little town is often used as the starting point for the ascent of Snowdon - the highest mountain in England and Wales. On the Snowdon Mountain Railway visitors can either take the train to the summit or enjoy one of the many walking routes. The town also hosts two annual races in July and October – the Snowdon Race and the Snowdonia Marathon. There are plenty of excellent places to eat and drink within Llanberis itself, whilst just seven miles away the seaside resort of Caernarfon makes a wonderful place to visit with its ancient castle and impressive town walls.

We loved the cottages situation, so many places to visit in close proximity. The house was so cosy and warm to come back to after walking in the cold and wet. A large, well situated lounge suitable for the six of us in our party. We hope to come back in the spring.

,The location of the property was excellent. It is close to all amenities/attractions and to the main roads. There were more than adequate amounts of crockery/cutlery, which makes a welcome change when in a self-catering property. The decking area overlooked the mountains of Snowdonia, which were visible on a clear day.

All prices are inclusive of the booking fee per week or short break.
Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental.
Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday.
"Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.
