"Ideally located, great facilities, and surprisingly good weather! A perfect Welsh weekend"
Stayed with a group of 12 friends in April, the property was ideal for us. Just under Snowdon, not far from Llanberis, a good size, with great facilities and very well kitted out. Would definitely return and recommend to similar groups.

"Really lovely accommodation in a lovely location"
Snowdon House is an exceptional building in a great location. Perfectly suited for walking, the hot tub is a great addition in any weather at the end of the day! With the weather being an issue at certain times of the year, it also offers easy access to a number of local amenities, many indoors, so there's something to do everyday.

"Perfect house, perfect location, perfect holiday!"
We stayed at Snowdon House to celebrate my 40th with my extended family (6 adults, 4 children). We had a really great week discovering Snowdonia and relaxing in the cottage. The hot tub and sauna were a real bonus after a day out in the fresh air. The bedrooms were all a good size and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with a massive table that we easily fitted around. Thank you Jim and Anne for my birthday treat! I hope we can return again one day.
So glad you enjoyed it Hope to see you again soon

"Special house in an amazing location"
Eleven adults stayed at Snowden House, from Friday to Monday, early February for which the house was easily big enough. We had an amazing time and spent much of it soaking up the awe-inspiring views all around us. Of course the weather helped (lovely and sunny) but overall i think you'd be hard pressed to find somewhere with a nicer view out of the window. The house itself was large with a brilliant kitchen and two lounge areas which were plenty big enough. The hot tub was great fun and we were really pleased to see it on and ready to go as soon as we got there. Bathrooms were also large and well equipped. Thanks very much Jim and Anne, would love to visit again!

"All the ingredients for a wonderful weekend at the foot of snowdon!"
We loved Snowdon House! The location (in the Llanberis Pass, just outside the lovely village of Nantperis with its fabulous pub), the hot tub and sauna, the big kitchen table, the cosy sitting rooms and the bottle of champagne on arrival all contributed to a wonderful weekend. We all wanted to come back ASAP! Many thanks!

"Great house, unbeatable location"
The house itself is great, its got the quirkiness of an old house but up to date in terms of facilities. Great view from the hot tub! Up the road is the starting point for the best tracks up Snowdon and I doubt there's any accommodation in the national park that's better placed for hiking

We were a group of 5 couples staying in Snowdonia to celebrate my wife's 50th birthday. Finding the house was easy and made even easier by the owners Jim and Anne covering the exterior of the house with "Happy 50th Birthday" balloons. The car park directly across the road from the house could comfortably accommodate 8 cars. The house sits at the very foot of Mount Snowdon on the Llanberis pass and the views from every window and doorway were spectacular. On entering the house there were further birthday decorations, a card and even a bottle of bubbly in the wine chiller fridge (a lovely touch). There were 5 bedrooms which were all adequate and clean, the beds were comfortable. The 2 bathrooms on the first floor were spacious and the showers were nice and hot. we never used the front living area as we much preferred the comfort of the lounge area next to the kitchen, which was handy for getting the beers in. and also there was a 3rd bathroom next to that lounge. The kitchen was well equipped and fully functional to prepare 10 cooked breakfasts each day. It had a beautiful large table which sat all 10 of us very comfortably. We only used the sauna once but made use of the outdoor hot tub spa almost every day which could sit 6 people. The Vaynol Arms public house was a short walk away, out of the front door, turn right and a 1/2 mile walk down the road. There was street lighting on route, but I chose to walk at the front of the group wearing a head torch when we were returning to the house from the pub. The pub had a good choice of menu which was excellent value for money and a good selection of beers including 4 real ale hand pulls. The food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious. the staff were very friendly and attentive. Everyone of our group has said that if they are ever visiting Snowdonia or North Wales again, they will certainly be booking Snowdon House. I know I will certainly be coming back. I have no hesitation in recommending this house to anyone, it certainly met and exceeded all of our expectations.

"Comfortable, welcoming house, ideal for family getaway"
I stayed at Snowdon house with the whole family (kids (ages 4 to 6) parents and grandparents). The house was large enough to accommodate us all without feeling at all squashed - the big kitchen and dining area was a particular delight. The hot tub was a huge hit with the kids and we were lucky to get the weather to make the most of it. The owner came by to make sure we were settled in and kindly brought extra towels in case we needed them. The only thing to watch out for if you go with kids is the main road, which had some fairly speedy traffic - the front gate has a good latch, though so it wasn't a problem.
