The house has four doubles and a twin all with stunning mountain views. There are three newly fitted bathrooms one with a full size bath, Sauna and drying room. The new fully fitted kitchen/dining area has the luxury of underfloor heating. There are two separate lounge areas, both with wood burning stoves in feature inglenooks with TV and Wi-Fi available.
At the end of a hard day on the hills you can enjoy a refreshing sauna in the 4 person sauna and relax in one of the two comfortable lounge areas. Each of these has a log burning stove in feature inglenooks - the one in the original cottage section dates back to when the house is thought to have been built in 1733. There is a TV in one lounge with the second lounge area intended to be more of a peaceful retreat at the end of the day where you can relax and listen to music or use the Wi-Fi connection.

You can head for either of the two terraces with a glass of wine and take in the amazing mountain scenery rising 3000ft above the valley floor. There is a BBQ and the border is planted with herbs that you can use for your cooking. For the ultimate relaxation slip into the new luxury 6 person hot tub where you can relax and soak away the aches and pains of a hard day on the hills while you enjoy the stunning mountain views towards Snowdon, The Glyders and Crib Goch. The balance is due six weeks prior to arrival.
If a booking is made less than 6 weeks before the date we would require the full amount to be paid.

Please arrange your own holiday insurance as you are liable for the cost of the holiday. However, in the event of you being unable to take up your booking, we will try our best to obtain another guest, without prejudice to our right to the full rent if the house remains vacant.
Personal Belongings - Cars, contents, baggage, etc and all personal items are at the owner’s risk. The guest will be liable for any damage to the property or its contents.
As unforeseen events can happen at any time please consider travel insurance to cover you in the event of you not being able to take your holiday.
The North Wales region
North Wales has been attracting tourists for many years and Snowdon House has been providing accommodation for the last 50 years. There is something for everyone in North Wales. The mountains of Snowdonia surround the house and you can find something challenging to do ever day whether it be climbing, walking or scrambling - all a short walk from the house. The area has many historic castles, including the World Heritage site at Caernarfon, many stately homes and historic buildings.
The top ten attractions in North wales are mostly within ten miles of the house and include adventure parks, steam railways, museums and visitor farms. The coast is only ten miles from the house and has a number of blue flag beaches and spectacular coastal scenery.
The Menai Straits. Anglesey, Caernarfon Castle, Penrhyn and Dolbadarn Castles, the National Slate Museum and quarry, or any of the many paths up Snowdon are all within a short drive of the house.
You can also enjoy the quiet sandy beaches and the beautiful villages and landscape of the LLyn Peninsula as well as the historic and exciting towns of Conwy, LLandudno and Beaumauris. Or for a change you can visit Chester for the shopping or the world renowned Zoo or take an exciting day trip on the ferry from Holyhead into the heart of Dublin.
Snowdon House is located at the foot of Snowdon in the LLanberis Pass, which is the most popular and spectacular part of the Snowdonia National Park. All the best climbing and walking is literally on your doorstep with the footpath for the Glyders and Devil's Kitchen just 200m from the house.
LLanberis is the gateway to Snowdonia and deserves it's reputation as the centre of tourism in North Wales. On the shores of LLyn Padard with the magnificent mountain scenery in the background it's a great place for families to enjoy. You can feed the ducks on the lake or visit the Slate Meseum and the quarry as well as the original houses of the miners.
There are numerous craft shops as well as the steam railway around the lake ot the world famous cog railway to the top of Snowdon. If you fancy something more challenging there is the Ropes and Ladders attraction, you can get your Paddy certificate for scuba diving in Vivian quarry as well as water sports on LLyn Padarn and endless opportunities for climbing and walking and pony trekking. There are 6 golf courses within 25 miles of the house and all welcome visitors.
A short drive away you'll find the Menai Straits, award winning beaches and the castles at Caernarfon and Penrhyn. Within half an hour is the beautiful walled town of Conway, the castle at Beaumauris, and the picturesque villages of Betwy-y-Coed and Bedgellert.
As well as The Vaynol Arms, which is about a half mile from the house, there are lots of good quality pubs and restaurants to choose from in Llanberis as well as Take Away outlets.
