About this location
The Gwynedd region
There can be few more iconic houses in the whole of North Wales than those situated around Llanbedrog Beach. Believed to be one of only two beaches in the UK that can boast deciduous trees growing directly onto the sand it is no wonder that Llanbedrog is designated as an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and was recently voted as the third most beautiful beach in the UK by readers of the Independent newspaper.
Dolphins are regular visitors to Llanbedrog Bay!
There are some stunning coastal walks closeby
Should you wish to move from Llanbedrog, Abersoch is only 1 mile away and at low tide you can walk around Llanbedrog Headland onto Abersoch Warren Beach.
Within walking distance from the house there are shops, beach bistros, family pubs, bars & restaurants. Ideal for a family break, walking, extreme sports or couple get aways. Whether you want to spend days at the beach, scuba diving, wake-boarding or stunning walks, there is something for everyone.

"Great location but property needs some attention"
The property is in a lovely location - quiet and peaceful and a very short stroll to the beach which was great for our dog. Unfortunately, although functional, we found the cottage to be quite basic … More

"Amazing location, will be coming back again"
Lovely week spent in Glyn Y Mor, Llanbedrog. You couldn't ask for a property closer to such a lovely beach. The property was clean, tidy and has everything you need and is in a really quiet spot. Lovely to be able to sit outside and enjoy the views.
The beach is wonderful for children as it's really shallow which not only means they are pretty safe, but also, if you have decent weather, the water gets quite warm. I believe it's one of only 2 beaches in the country to have trees growing on the beach itself, which are fantastic as they are beautiful but also provide some much needed shade on hotter days.
I would highly recommend going to The Galley restaurant which is virtually on the beach. Great food and friendly, quick service.
