About this location

The North Wales region

Famous for its choirs, stunning mountain ranges and beautiful valleys, this wonderful country has something for everyone. From Snowdonia in North Wales to the Brecon Beacons and the Pembrokeshire Coast in the South.

Llanbedr

Set between The Rhinogs - part of the Snowdonia Mountains - and the stunning golden beaches of the north Welsh coastline, the pretty village of Llanbedr is also within easy reach of the swiftly flowing River Artro. The town's position means it enjoys a very mild climate and consequently offers an exciting array of wildlife and birds including buzzards. The village also boasts some good local amenities, including a number of shops and an excellent pub. Only three miles away is the town of Harlech which is home to a 13th century castle widely considered to be the most impressive of Edward I's north Welsh building projects. The famous Royal St. David's golf course is close by, making the area popular with sports enthusiasts, whilst nearby Barmouth offers an amazing Panorama Walk with breathtaking views.
