Home description
Fully equipped, sunny and roomy apartment is ideal for families and friends, but also very siutable for couples, seniors, bussines men (we had guests who arranged bussines meetings in the living room) or solos, who need more space. In the apartment can sleep up to 7 people – 5 on „real“ beds, 2 on comfortable couch (130 x 210 cm) in the living-room.
Our newly renovated apartment has been opened since October 2007 and is situated on the ninth (9) floor of the apartment block only 3 km from the old historical city-centre. Of course there is an elevator in the building.
Although this apartment block is situated near very croudy Celovska street, the neigbourhood is really safe and quiet. The historical city-centre is not on walking distance, but only 5 mins. away by car or 10-15 mins. away by bus. The bus station is 200 m from the apartment.
When you enter, hall welcomes you and offers you sleepers, umbrellas, coat hangers and welcome-board. The hall ends with the computer corner for all you who cannot endure without your e-friends, PC, email, internet and more. Computer is PROVIDED.
The apartment benefits from a new high quality hot and cold air conditioning unit in the living-room. The soul of the apartment are spacious and open daily area, dressed in sunny and eternally warm colours connected with functional kitchen, immense dinner table and bright living room. The fully furnished living-room has a large cosy couch (sitting 5) and 2 bright red armchairs. At the same time the company around dinner table can undisturbed chitchat. In the living-room you can find DVD player and HI-FI that plays radio, CD's and tapes. Sliding glass patio doors lead to a very tiny balcony just to step out, breathe and invite some fresh air to your daily area.
The warm yellow kitchen area is quite big and very well equipped. It has a lot of dishes, microwave, oven, big refrigerator, freezer, dish-washer, kettle, coffee maker and toaster. There is also an iron and ironing board .
Everything except bathroom was during spring and summer 2007 renovated. But the bathroom was still in a very good shape. The fully equipped bathroom has a bath with shower, bidet and wash basin with mirror. Bathroom's neighbour is toilet with a small washin basin and mirrow, so that in full capacity there won't be too crowdy in the morning.
There are 2 Ikea bedrooms. In small one (green) there is one double bed (140 x 200 cm) and a wardrobe. In the large orange bedroom we put one queen size bed (160 x 200 cm) and one single bed (90 x 200 cm). Of course we didn't forget to put in one big wardrobe with sliding doors and commode. For groups of seven (7) people we have one comfortable double spare bed in a living room.

The Ljubljana region
As well as being a wonderful destination in its own right, Ljubljana is an ideal home base from which to visit other areas of interest in Slovenia. It is just a short drive to the beautiful lake regions of Bled and Bohinj. Intriguing caves and the dramatic mountain region can also be nice day trips from the city.
Ljubljana is a delightful, small city situated around a lovely river. Jugglers, street musicians and friends rendezvous at outdoor cafés clustered throughout the gently pulsing city. Smiles, banter and whiffs of food from sidewalk restaurants swirl through the air. Red tiled roofs, spirals and baroque churches all culminate in a lovely fortress perched atop a hill overlooking the small streets filled with medieval, baroque and Art Nouveau buildings. The city is clean, accessible and friendly. On a sunny day, the streets and sidewalks are bustling with people of all ages. There is a fresh, young vibrancy in the air, people travel on bicycles, lounge around at cafés sipping coffee, dining on the edge of the river enjoying the healthy quality of life.
Ljubljana City / Siska area
Our ap. is on 9th floor of 10 floor building, 3 km from the city centre Ljubljana, close to the Ljubljana highway ring, heading one way to Slovenian small, but nice coast (1,5 hour by car) and Dolenjska and the other way to Štajerska and Prekmurje. It's 5 to 10 km from the north and south shopping centres (BTC City and Rudnik), only 3 km from the Gorenjska highway heading north to the Austria and Italy and Slovenian Alps with some of the Slovenian most scenic places, Bled, Bohinj and ski areas. It's near food-stores (Tuš, Mercator, Hofer, Spar), near bakery (100 m), near (150 m) the bus station, but price for taxi-ride is also very acceptable (5 € per ride to the centre using Metro Taxi company).
How to get there
By taxi from the main train station: - we recommend you to take a taxi from company METRO TAXI (other companies are much more expensive) - it costs you 6 € per taxi (4 people in a cab) ANY TIME of the day or night - phone number company Metro Taxi: +386 41 240 200 - you just tell the driver the address: Ob zici 3, Ljubljana
By car from the airport Jozeta Pucnika Brnik: - go to Gorenjska Highway - after approx. 20 km turn left to Celovska Street direction "CENTRE" - drive 3 km straight ahead - watch out for crossing with the Ljubljana Ring (you cannot miss the crossing because there you will see directions to different parts of Slovenia) - go just straight across - after (200 m) crossing it you should turn FIRST RIGHT (before turning *first right* you have to see a big croissant in the "shop-window" and inscription "Pekarna Lev" (Bakery Lion) and you are almost there).
By car from different parts of the world: - we will send you directions, don't worry - BE CAREFUL - if you want to use highways and other "important" roads in Slovenia you need a vignette (35 € for 6 months, 150 € fee if you don't have it)

- Reservation is assured after the reservation payment confirmation (20% of total value) on our bank account (we will give you all needed infos). - Because of safety reasons we charge you deposit of 100 EUR.
