The County Kerry region
Kerry, known as the ‘Kingdom County’ in Ireland, is one of the highlights to any visit to Ireland. County Kerry is one of the most spectacular landscapes in Ireland with Mountains, Rivers & Sea. It has it all with breath taking scenery around every bend. If you find yourself driven to explore, then begin with the Conor Pass, the highest pass in Ireland, which provides spectacular views of Dingle Harbour to the south and Mount Brandon to the north.
Continue your adventure onto the Slea Head Drive as it twists and turns through some of the most ruggedly beautiful landscape in Ireland, offering dramatic views of the Three Sisters and the Blasket Islands.Tralee is a major tourist attraction and with the many beautiful beaches and championship golf courses close by, along with the Rose of Tralee festival each August, there is something in the North Kerry Region for everyone.
While Tralee is a bustling merchant town, you will always be made welcome. The famous Rose Gardens in the town centre, a visit to the Geraldine Experience ( a look back to medieval Tralee) are all leisurely undertakings, If you want a bit more,take a bus tour around the Ring of Kerry or if you are brave enough, cycle or drive it yourself. While there why not visit Dingle ,meet Fungi the local friendly dolphin the many historical places of interest. Access to the many Blue Flag beaches in the area is only minutes away by car.
Lixnaw area
Lixxnaw (Leic Snámha or "The swimming flagstone" in Irish) is located near the River Brick 11 km (7 mi) SW of Listowel and 17 km (11 mi) NE of Tralee.Local places of interest Korean War Memorial, St Michaels Well, 11th century Round Tower at Ballyduff.
The Bog Village nearby..Old railway station, Abbeydorney, Ardfert Cathedral, Lartique Railway Station, Listowel.Listowel Castle.Blue Flag beaches of Banna, Ballyheigue and Ballybunion 15min drive. Within a 30min drive you could be on the Shannon/Killimer ferry to explore the west coast of Clare.
Also during the summer months why not try out Dancing at the Crossroads in Finuge village on Sunday nights. Great craic assured.

There are two separate lounge areas, one serviced with TV, DVD and multichannel facilities. The TV lounge has an open log fire with timber surround & comfortable seating for 5. The other lounge is kitted with table and chairs with an open log fire.
Upstairs is serviced by 4 very spacious bedrooms which include 2 double, 1 single and 1 Twin.
The Bathroom is quipped with a shower over bath and also in the master bedroom is an electric pumped shower.
Also downstairs a playroom kitted with children's toys etc.
