This apartment is on the upper level and is part of a covertated picturesque farmhouse with panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside, for the enjoyment of the discerning few. It has been designed to make you feel at home, each with its own kitchen and outdoor terrace. This house was newly renovated in 2004 and includes a three bedroom apartment. We do have other size apartments available for rent and holiday makers should contact us for more details.
The outdoor terrace which is located on the ground floor is fully furnished and perfect for eating al fresco, watching the sun set or greeting each new dawn.

Located in the town of Rosignano Marittimo, in the providence of Livorno, which is just twenty minutes from Pisa Airport. This estate is located in the heart of Tuscany within striking distance of cultural centres of major artistic interest. Right off the Etruscan coastline of Tuscany, this casa crowns a panoramic view of the village leading down to the Mediterranean Sea. The apartment has its own entrance and terrace area furnished.

This villa is fully restored in an old world style setting for a perfect get-away from the hustle and bustle of the big cities, and yet it is so centrally located that Pisa, Florence, San Gimignano, Siena, Tuscany’s most beautiful site of the Palio races, Volterra, villa Puccini, Livorno are all easily taken in one-day trips. Bicycle rentals are another option for excursions and small trips around the hills and to the coast.Let’s not forget you can relax on the sun baked shores of the Mediterranean Sea which is just five minutes from your villa.

The estate is centrally located to two main roads that provide access to all these preferred cities. Topping the village is the 13th- century Castle of Rosignano Marittimo with a museum which is open daily. A variety of Tuscany-style restaurants and small shops are just steps off our driveway. Or if you prefer preparing your own meals the apartment has a large eat-in-kitchen with all its amenities.

A large super market is just a short drive and offers everything like home including the freshest cheeses of Tuscany. Rome is just a two and a half hour drive away, or just hop on the train which is only five minutes away (via car) to enjoy any of these historic cities. Why stay in a big city when you can enjoy the Tuscan small town life with these famous historical cities just minutes away.

The present owners are an Italian-American couple who inherited the estate and immediately started to renovate this once active farmhouse into a vacation getaway. Completed in 2004, this elegant farmhouse was converted into four private apartments. The owners reserved one for themselves, which they retreat away from New York life about six months of the year. The owners are fluent in both English and Italian. They take great pride in providing personal care of all the accommodations, needs, and interests of their guests.

Guests are invited to stroll among the estates vineyards and olive groves for sampling of the homemade wine and olive oil. They are also encouraged to ask any questions they may have. This estate covering an area of approximately 17 acres blends into the harmonious scenery of the Tuscan countryside, where green hills slope down towards the horizon and woods alternate with vineyards and olive groves.

The apartment sleeps six. Two bedrooms each with a queen sized bed share a full-size master bath. A third bedroom, located at the top of the spiral staircase, is furnished with either two single beds or one queen-size bed and it's own private bathroom with shower. A full-size eat-in kitchen with oven, stove top, refrigerator and TV. The outdoor seating area is located on the side terrace.

Right from the very beginning, I couldn't believe how very helpful Annette was in answering all the questions I had while I was trying to plan the final details of our trip. The payment was also much easier by simply paying in Euros upon arrival, unlike most of all the other rental properties that required Pay Pal converted into Euros. Also when I asked Annette for advice, she always had numerous recommendations, and suggestions which really helped us since there were so many places we wanted to visit. She even helped with the name of a hotel in Rome that we were able to book. We had decided that we were going to use the Saracino villa for a central location that we would take day trips from during our 10 nights in Tuscany, and what a great location it was. I would definitely recommend this as a central location for anyone planning a trip to Tuscany. Located about 20 minutes from Pisa, we were just 5-10 min. by car to a train station in the next town. We used the train to go to several places rather than drive, like when we visited Florence and Cinque Terre (it was so much easier than driving). Also there was a laundry mat, large grocery store, banks, several restaurants and a beautiful beach that we went to several times in the area. Annette and Tony are 2 of the nicest people that I've had the pleasure of meeting, and I really wish that we would have had more time to spend with them to explore their working farm. They made us feel very welcome, and it was so nice to return there each evening after our daily travels to their beautiful, and peaceful home. We rented the two bedroom apartment and it was spotless, but I have to say that my favourite time was always spent having my coffee each morning out on the back deck while enjoying the view of the beautiful countryside. We always felt very safe there (rather than in a crowded city or hotel room), and we really enjoyed the peace and quiet. I'm glad I brought back some of their olive oil, and each time I use it I think of how much I enjoyed my stay at the Saracino villa. Hello!
Just arrive back from a week in the 3 bed apartment.
Accommodation spacious - high ceilings - finished to a high standard with a fresh feeling.
The whole family really enjoyed the holiday. Something for my wife and me, my teenage girls, and my younger children (aged 10 and 6)......
Scenic views across valley from the patio - thoroughly relaxing. No busy roads or other man-made noises to be heard - just the sound of grass hoppers!
5-10min walk into town with a selection of shops including restaurants (some outdoor), and an ice cream parlour.
White sandy beaches 10mins away by car and night life in the nearby towns.
We have stayed in several apartments in Tuscany and this is the 1st my wife has said she would like to go back to!

“My girlfriend and I stayed at one of the villas at this property in July 2009 for 10 days and it was without doubt the most enjoyable and relaxing holiday either of us have ever been on. We found the owners Mr and Mrs. Saracino to be perfect hosts, they were always willing to help us with travel directions and advice on what was about in the local area. In fact on several occasions we were even given fresh fruit to eat that was grown in their gardens which was lovely. The property is well located near a lovely white sand beach, only a 10 minute walk to local shops and pizzerias with beautiful views from the balcony and our villa was well furnished with all the appliances you’d need for a short or long stay. We would recommend this to anyone who’s looking for somewhere nice and quiet to stay in the Tuscany region.
