Upstairs to the first floor there is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom with additional single sofa bed. A shower room/wc and a children's TV/play room. On the second floor are two further double bedrooms.This is a comfortable family home that is an ideal base for a holiday to the magnificent city of Liverpool.

Situated in the north west of England, Liverpool is a fantastic city with something for everyone. Also the beautiful countryside of the Lake District, Wales and the Peak District are easily reached by car. There are beaches at Crosby with Anthony Gormleys statues, Formby and Blackpool.
The historic waterfront, two cathedrals and two football grounds and world class shopping in Liverpool One are but a short distance from the house.Not to mention a wealth of museums,with many having free entrance and many high quality Bars and Restaurants to choose from within the city centre.
The Liverpool / Wavertree Village area
Wavertree Village ideally situated for everything Liverpool and the region has to offer. mCalderstones and Sefton Park, with it magnificent Palm House are close by. Penny Lane is within walking distance and close to that are many popular bars and restaurants in Allerton Road.
A pleasant stroll can be taken from the house around the conservation area with many forms of architecture to be seen. There is a small pub at the end of the road which will give you a warm Liverpool welcome. There is also a new swimming pool and sports complex 5 minutes walk from the house in Wavertree park. Wavertree technology railway station is 0.6km from house that links to Lime St and Manchester.

Conveniently situated aound 3 miles from the city centre of Liverpool is the conservation area of Wavertree Village.The M62 is approx 1 mile away and John Lennon airport 5 miles away which is served by Easy Jet, Ryan Air and other major airlines. There are excellent rail links from Lime Street Station and direct bus routes at the end of the road to and from the city centre.

I booked the accommodation for a family wedding. The house was deceptively spacious, as from the outside it didn't look particulalry big but accommodated nine of us quite comfortably. It was simply decorated, well equipped and the owners had thought of everything down to the last detail. Although we did not have any younger children with us, there was a well equipped playroom. Tracy was very friendly and helpful and made us feel welcome straightaway. Although the house was quite near to the main road, it was surprisingly quiet. Its location meant that the centre and other parts of Liverpool we needed to visit were easily accessible, whether by car or bus. I wouldn't hesitate in booking the property for future visits to Liverpool or in recommending it to friends. |

A home from home in a lovely location. Every home comfort provided; very tastefully decorated; and equipped to a high standard (including basics like coffee, tea, sugar etc). Convenient for getting into the city centre. Tracy (landlady) and her family were very friendly and helpful. All in all, a great start to our first visit to Liverpool. What a wonderful place to stay. Have stayed twice, for three to four weeks each time and already have two months booked for 2012. This house is in a great location for easy access to Liverpool's many attractions, with easy access to good bus routes if you do not have a car. The house itself is very comfortable and has lots of character. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need and there is a lovely big dining table for you to invite friends and entertain. Tracy is always available should you need anything during your stay, she is very helpful and accommodating. We love staying at 23 Sandown Lane and would love to live there permanently! |
