The Albert Dock (Beatles Museum) is home to the Tate Gallery with various tours starting from there.

Situated at the mouth of the River Mersey, Liverpool celebreated its 800th birthday in 2007 and is 2008 European City of Culture. The culture is changing all the time. In the past 100 or so years the city has been dominated by Irish, Welsh and a large Chinese and West African population. However, the last few years has seen many new influences which add colour and variety to our amazing city.
Speke Hall is worth a visit. Near the airport this part wooden tudor building is fascinating.
History was made in theis city, having been a proud seaport and having played an important part in the battles of the Atlantic in WW2.
Liverpool / Liverpool Docklands area
Liverpool is a vibrant re-developing city with something for everyone: theatres; Mathew Street with the world-famous Cavern Club and festival in August; the Liver Buildings and waterfront. The Beatles Tour, museums, churches, Everton F.C and Liverpool F.C all add to the very mixed cultures in thr city.
Within easy reach of Manchester, Chester ad Southport, you will never be lost for something to do. Take a 'Ferry across the Mersey' visit. Championship golf courses at Hoylake and Birkdale are within easy reach, with many private and municipal courses nearby.

Further details indoors: The entrance to the apartment pod is very bright, warm and welcoming, with high security. All entrances - both exterior gates and pods (i.e. apartment blocks) - need key fobs.
Further details outdoors: The apartment is situated on the river front with miles of walks up and down the River Mersey. The inland docks now surround the area and make a very pleasant setting. There are views up and down the river and across to North Wales. The juilette balcony opens onto the river side of the apartment.
