Northern England region

With each corner turned & on every street, Liverpool has something to offer for everyone.

Try a pint in a traditional English or Irish pub downtown in Matthew Street, home to the Matthew Street Festival every summer. There you will find Beatles memorabilia shops, the infamous 'Cavern Club', Lennon's Bar, the famous 'Flannigan's Apple', Sports bars and a variety of shops including designer shopping from the likes of 'Vivien Westwood'...... All this just a few minutes walk from the east village apartments.

Across the water we have the Wirral and beyond that, North Wales. Both have spectacular scenery and quaint villages scattered along the coast and throughout the countryside. Plenty of golf courses and walking trails out there. All from within a 20 to 30 min drive away.

Liverpool

The recently opened LIVERPOOL ONE area of the city is just at the end of the street from the apartments, only 300 meters away from the apartment building . The Albert Dock and Echo Arena both just a short stroll across the road. Between them you will discover a host of things to see and do including entertainment from the Echo Arena stadium and conference centre, maritime attractions including the Maritime Museum (free entry). There are Yachts, ships and various sea vessels in dock as well as historic buildings built before and during the Industrial revolution.

Also in the Albert Dock area, you will find great restaurants & trendy clubs, Tate Art Gallery, the Beatles tour, souvenir shops & much more.. This is a great place to meet up and see the sights on offer before wandering back across the Strand Promenade and back into the city centre itself.

On the other side of town you can visit The Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool Museum, St Georges Hall, The Empire Theatre and much more.

Outside of the city you can take a tour Liverpool FC or Everton FC's football grounds.

Liverpool has two cathedrals, The Anglican & The Catholic . Both situated at opposing ends of Hope Street. These are a must see and require donation only. Entry is free. Hope Street spans the length of the Georgian Quarter and is amongst the university area of the city.. home to some 70,000 students. Inside the Georgian Quarter you'll find the 'Philharmonic Hall' & of course the Philharmonic Pub. Along Hope Street and throughout the area, there are a variety of places to eat & drink from student 'budget' prices right up to fine dining at the London Carriage Works or 60 Hope Street.

"Good property close to all amenities"

We stayed here in August with 2 adults and 4 children - the apartment was very suitable for our needs - room for 2 families, spacious and in a good location a short walk from the main part of town.
Only issue was owner unable to provide travel cot but they very kindly compensated by offering a complimentary parking space

"Just what we needed."

Booked this apartment for a large group to enjoy a night it in Liverpool with some other friends. The service prior to our arrival was very helpful and friendly. On arrival we were impressed with the accommodation and very happy with the location in relation to the bars and restaurants. We had a great time.

"Perfect apartment for our weekend"

We stayed at this apartment in the last weekend in June (28th- 30th) for my friends hen weekend. There were 10 of us and the apartment was perfect. It was within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants and was very reasonably priced. Would recommend this apartment and would definitely use it again in the future.

"Perfect in every way!"

I needed to book a last minute trip to Liverpool and wanted to stay in an apartment as opposed to a hotel. I looked on here and came across this apartment. I emailed the owner on the Saturday morning and by Sunday evening was in the apartment. Marc (the owner) was extremely quick to respond and understood my urgency. The booking was straightforward and all the information he provided was useful. The checking in and out was quick and efficient.

As to the apartment itself, I couldn't have asked for more. It is in a great location, quiet, safe and in walking distance to Liverpool's many attractions. I was travelling alone, but found the apartment to be very spacious and I will be considering staying here with a larger group next time I am in Liverpool. The lounge/kitchen/dining area is very large and open and it feels very homely. The kitchen is well stocked (perhaps with more utensils than I have in my own home) and very clean. The bedrooms were also spacious with comfy beds. I also noticed the quality and cleanliness of the bedding (I have stayed in places before where the bedding feels a bit old, but this felt more like qualty hotel bedding).

Overall, this is a very homely, spacious apartment with everything you would need. Whether a family holiday, a hen do and a City break, this place is ideal. It was a pleasure to deal with Marc and I am looking forward to staying here again.

"convenient location in the heart of Liverpool"

stayed at this apartment with a colleague for a conference in Liverpool and we had a great stay. The apartments are located right in the city centre so we had no need for taxi's or public transport. The apartment was clean and well maintained and with more than enough bedding and towels for our stay. We ate in Chinatown with is just around the corner and which has lots of good quality restaurants to chose from and is recommended if you don't fancy cooking. There is also a Tesco a couple of minutes walk away, along with the LIVERPOOL ONE shopping centre at the end of the road should you fancy some retail therapy! I would recommend this apartment and will definitely be staying again
