“Wonderful property, great location” This house was perfect for our group of 10 twenty- and thirty-somethings for a friends' weekend away. We were very lucky with the weather so could enjoy the lovely little balcony and the great location and in the evening the large and very comfy lounge was ideal for relaxing. The owner was very helpful and made sure our stay was stress-free. I would definitely recommend Breakwater :)

“quiet, excellent views, beautiful rooms, cannot ask for more” Fantastic place for a break with friends, tastefully furnished and very quiet. Beautiful views of the sea, sunset's and sunrise were amazing. The added bonus of a balcony which we sat on every night, before and after dinner, even in December! The owner was very friendly and helpful and would definitely recommend a stay. Long walks along the sandy beaches and plenty of dining places. We go to Devon once a year in the summer and are now going to book our winter break in Littlestone at this property

“Excellent place, had a great time” We had a great time here over New Year, 10 of us stayed, loads of room for all with amaing views of the channel... Would recommend to anyone, John the owner very helpful too!!

“A wonderful stay!” I'd seen the photos of Breakwater on the gallery before we arrived, of course, but they didn't really do the place justice. Breakwater is such a beautiful house: well appointed, excellent finishes, and very comfortable. The view onto the sea is simply breathtaking. I'd arrived in the dark - later than planned - so when I saw the glittering, sunny view from the main reception room the next morning it was just wonderful. It was the perfect place for a big family gathering - lots of space both in the front room and in the kitchen (where a new dining table and chairs sat 9 of us very comfortably). The owner, John, was really friendly and helpful at every stage: from booking enquiry right through to our departure. Because i was delayed in my journey getting down to Littlestone, the Tesco shopping delivery arrived before I did - and John was there to take things up. He also welcomed the first in the group to arrive and showed them around the house. Thanks John! We'd happily come here again.

“Perfect Christmas holiday!” We have just returned from a very chilled weeks holiday at 'Breakwater' over Christmas with our family of 10 ranging from age 5-65. After a very friendly welcome on arrival by the owner (John), we were given a tour of everything around this warm, cosy house.(John even took in out shopping delivery that arrived before us!) A beautiful Christmas tree inside and outside, a welcome pack of tea, coffee,milk & wine & made-up beds in quality linen was much appreciated. No need to take towels, bedding, tea-towels etc, its all supplied, beds are made and the house is cleaned on your departure, which is another added bonus! We spent a lot of time chatting around the dinner table in the kitchen and relaxing in the lounge in its wonderful decor and quality furnishings. The beds were extremely comfortable and the view amazing. .It was lovely to spend quality time in a quiet location away from it all to enjoy our family Christmas and will definitely be arranging to go back in the summer to enjoy the beachside in the sunshine.

“Nice view. Accommodation ok.” Area is lovely and this maisonette has good views. Accommodation was ok/average. We did have to wash crockery and cutlery as they were not clean and some of the fittings in the kitchen were a little shabby. Beds were very comfortable which was a bonus, bedrooms on the small side but were furnished nicely. I think the biggest downside of our stay was the awful cooking smells coming up from the flat below that lingered for an age. Would I stay there again, possibly. It's not an awful place by any means but I guess I expected a higher standard.

“What an amazing place” Such a gorgeous house, the pictures really don't do it justice you need to see it for yourself. This was my second stay in the house and I would go back time and time again. My first stay was in April with 7 friends, I loved that we had two bathrooms which made getting ready to go out so much easier. One night we did stay in and the living room was big and cosy with enough sofa's for everyone to get comfy. John (the owner) makes you feel very welcome and makes sure you have everything you could possible need to have a wonderful break away.
