"Excellent hideaway near The Forest of Dean"

This cottage is a gem. It is close to the Forest of Dean and all its attractions, and Gloucester. An easy drive along the Severn to Bristol, or Wales. The cottage is well maintained and well-provisioned. The hosts were very obliging, and friendly. Even though the cottage is in their backyard, literally, they don't interfere in any way. We would stay there again, and fully recommend it.

"Lovely features"

This is a lovely cottage, as long as you bear the following in mind:The double bed is not actually a double, and the mattress is very soft. The garden is not fully enclosed, so no good if your dog need… More

Glad to hear you enjoyed your week. Sorry you found the bed soft, its always difficult to get just the right mattress for everyone but just to confirm it is a standard sized double with a Rest Assured pocket sprung medium firm mattress. Thanks for your feedback about the private garden adjacent to the cottage, for the benefit of future guests we will look into adding a gate in the near future.

"Comfortable cottage with a good location"

Ideal cottage for a couple with parking right outside. Ideal location whether you want to visit Gloucester, Chepstow, Monmouth or the Cotswolds. Cinderford and Little Dean nearby where you will find plenty of pubs serving bar meals.

"Very comfortable accommodation in a lovely area."

A very pleasant and quiet cottage to stay in. It took us a few minutes to find it, but after that it was all just what we wanted. Everything we needed was there, and it was all clean and comfortable. The owners were welcoming - available but not intrusive. The location was good for trips around the area and Cinderford is close enough to ensure that shopping for essentials was not a chore. Lastly, our dog got on with theirs, so it was good stay for her too.
