The Great Room, which shares space with the open-plan kitchen and dining areas, is invitingly furnished with comfortable upholstered sofas and chairs, and opens out to a large covered verandah on the pool and terrace level, where you can enjoy alfresco dining or a game of cards with your family and friends, or just relax and chat with cocktails in the outdoor living area, set with more chairs and sofas.

Two air-conditioned master bedroom/bath suites are located on either side of the villa, and each boasts a cherry four-poster king bed. The third air-conditioned bedroom offers two queen sleigh beds and its own ensuite bath, and connects to one of the king master suites, making it ideal for children. All baths feature exhilarating but secluded outdoor covered showers. Beachcombing, swimming and snorkeling are but a short walk away through tropical landscaping, the shared tennis court is next door, and each evening's sunset will thrill you - a most enticing villa at which to spend your holiday!

Natural beauty is in abundance on the third largest of the British Virgin Islands. Explore the indigenous plant-lined trails, nature sanctuaries and natural wonders of the protected national parks. By mid-morning in Virgin Gorda, many have settled down on one of the many deserted beaches that fringe the island. The pace of life is slow on Virgin Gorda, but if you don't want to spend the day on a beach, there are plenty of other activities. You could explore The Baths- huge boulders provide a myriad of rock pools, secret beaches, and trails. Or spend the morning at a hillside restaurant cooled by gentle breezes while you watch the ferries cross the North Sound far below. Dramatic slopes plunge from Gorda Peak to the turquoise waters below.

The Virgin Gorda region

Virgin Gorda entices travelers with its yacht clubs, quiet coves, safe anchorages and luxury resorts and villas. On the North Sound and accessible only by water, the exclusive Bitter End Yacht Club offers a premier resort and barefoot elegance.

For a quintessential Caribbean vacation, stroll or swim at the unspoiled beaches at: • Savannah Bay • Pond Bay • Devil's Bay • Mahoe Bay • Spring Bay

Natural Beauty: Natural beauty is in abundance on the third largest of the Virgin Islands. Discover the indigenous plant-lined trails, nature sanctuaries and natural wonders of our protected national parks: • Gorda Peak • Devil's Bay • Spring Bay • The North Sound • Little Fort National Park nature sanctuary • The Baths, a popular attraction where huge granite boulders create mysterious grottos, saltwater pools and a connecting trail that entices visitors to swim and snorkel.

Culture & Heritage: The dramatic shape of the island Virgin Gorda reminded Christopher Columbus of a reclining woman, or “Fat Virgin.” Explore more of our rich heritage of African, Indian and Spanish history, such as: • The Spanish ruins at Little Fork National Park • The British influence in Spanish Town • The Cornish Copper Mines, where the ruins are set against the azure sea at the island's southwestern tip

This eclectic influence extends to Virgin Gorda's local cuisine, shops, arts, fashion and gifts.
