Comfortably furnished, with a multi fuel stove in the Cornish stone fireplace in the spacious sitting room, this property offers far reaching countryside views from the private patio to both Bodmin Moor and distant Dartmoor. Outside, the property offers shared access to a lovely lawned area with paddock and meadow – ideal for summer ball games, picnics and al fresco dining. This charming little cottage is also well placed for Looe, Fowey and many more coastal villages, allowing visitors to stay within the heart of this wonderful vibrant region.

The West Country / Cornwall region

Liskeard / East Taphouse area

Located on the A390 and in the heart of the beautiful Cornish countryside is the small village of East Taphouse. This charming village is perfectly situated for exploring all that Cornwall and Devon have to offer. Set between the popular market towns of Liskeard and Lostwithiel, this little settlement also boasts easy access to the picturesque old fishing ports of Looe, Polperro and Fowey as well as many spectacular sandy beaches and coves along the south coast. Inland, the dramatic Bodmin Moor is just 10 minutes to the north and offers great walking and cycling opportunities whilst the renowned Eden Project along with the magnificent Lost Gardens of Heligan are also close by. The National Trust owns many properties in the local area, including Lanhydrock and Mount Edgecombe houses.

The welcome pack included a Christmas tree and mince pies! A very warm cosy bungalow with all mod cons. Very central to explore many parts of Cornwall. Would definitely consider re-booking on another occasion.
