- Located a mile from the tranquil village of St Neot where there is a village shop, church and pub.

- Close by are the wedding venues of Trevenna and Carnglaze Caverns.

- Wild expanse of Bodmin Moor with its ancient and industrial archeology and mining heritage lies about 1.5 miles to the north

- Close to lovely walks at Golitha Falls and at the Hurlers Bronze Age stone circle at Minions.

For the more serious walker, there is the circular 60 mile Copper Trail around Bodmin Moor. The South West Coast Path offers stunning sea views and coastal scenery from Looe to Fowey in one direction and towards the sandy beaches of Seaton and Whitsand Bay in the other.

"Wish we could have stayed longer"

My husband and I along with two friends have just returned from a wonderful week staying in Sage Cottage. This was my husband and my fifth visit to Lower Trengale Farm. We have stayed in three of the cottages and each time have been equally pleased with the accommodation and the warm welcome we received. The cream tea awaiting us was greatly appreciated and enjoyed by all. We have always been very pleased with the cleanliness and standard of the furnishings and decoration. Everywhere has a bright airy feeling and the views are beautiful. Although you feel as if you are in the middle of nowhere, it doesn't take long to get to the various attractions Cornwall has to offer. Already looking forward to visit number six.
