Bluebell Barn is situated in the beautiful Glynn Valley between Liskeard and Bodmin at Twowatersfoot on the river Fowey located off the A38 down a country lane this is a peaceful place to stay and is ideal not only as a base for touring Cornwall but also to escape the pressures of every day life. Children can play in the meadow with the swings, trampoline, and ballgames such as football, swingball, cricket, or play in the indoor playroom with table tennis, table football etc. There is plenty of parking for five cars and the garden is laid to lawn with access to the river Fowey where you can relax and watch the wild life or walk the dog, Alternately you can enjoy fishing for Salmon or Brown Trout in season which starts in April and ends in December a licence can be obtain for an extra charge. The Halfway House pub is 1.50km drive with good food ,ale and your dog will be welcome.
Bluebell sleeps 4 in two bedrooms it as a fully equipped kitchen incorporated in a lounge/dinner with freeview TV and video player, and radio/CD player, a twin bedroom with twin beds and a double, the bathroom is down a step next to the double bedroom and as a electric shower over the bath. The central heating is by electric eco friendly radiators the electric is all paid for in the tariff and there a shared laundry for the guest with washing machine and tumble dryer, all towels and bed linen is provided in the tariff, cots, high chairs, stair gates are also available. Dogs are welcome at a charge of £25.00 each for the week ,All our cottages are non-smoking.

The Cornwall region
Bluebell barn is base centrally between the south and north coast of Cornwall Bodmin moor is to the north where the famous Jamaica Inn can be found which is thought to be haunted, the moors are great for walks to take in the beautiful scenery and feel the history of the people who used to live and work there visit the Goliath falls, walk round Siblybacy lake or go on water sports.
Visit the lovely beaches and quaint fishing harbours such as Looe,Polperro, Padstow Fowey Port Isaac and many more they all have festivals a different times of the year.
Bodmin as a lot to offer the camel trail start here and ends in Padstow its great for walking or riding your bike and is safe for children, and why not visit the vineyard on your way and stop for a rest before you carry on to Wadebidge and then on to Padstow. Visit Bodmin jail go down into the creepy dungeons and listen to the stories of the former prisoners and afterwards have a meal or a drink in their restaurant.
A must visit is the Eden project where you can walk trough the different countries climates in the Bio Domes, their restaurant is all freshly cooked local food, In the winter month your can go ice skating also.
Landhydrock house is one of the oldest house in Cornwall and is just 15min away they lovely gardens with a new bicycle path around the grounds.
Carnglaze Cavern is an old slate mine you can go down and view the lake underground and learn about the people who worked there some of which where small children it is just 10min away from the cottage.
In the area we have two golf causes one at Landhydrock and the other at st Mellion,
There is a local train service at Parkway station i.50km drive away,
The nearest supermarkets are 6.50km in Bodmin,
The nearest beaches are Talland Bay and Looe
A musical Festival takes place in Looe later in the year.
