This welcoming cottage in the countryside a few miles from Lisdoonvarna sleeps six people in three bedrooms.Farmhouse is a welcoming cottage close to Lisdoonvarna. The cottage sleeps six people and has two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite, and a twin room. There is a bathroom, and an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting area with solid-fuel stove. Outside is ample off road parking and garden areas to the front and rear. Farmhouse is ideally placed for enjoying the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren and the rest of this lovely county.

Amenities: Oil central heating with solid fuel stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with basic Sky, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Shed with four bicycles. Front lawned garden with plants plus rear gravel area with plants, patio area and furniture. Sorry, no pets and smoking. Shop and pub 3.5 miles.

Region: County Clare has so much on offer; boat trips, quirky pubs, seaside resorts and a great tradition for Irish music, all set amidst spectacular scenery such as the towering Cliffs of Moher and the fascinating landscape of The Burren.

Town: Lisdoonvarna is Ireland's premier Spa town, situated in the Burren region of County Clare, and is home to the Spa Wells Health Centre, the only active spa centre in Ireland, boasting a Victorian pump house, sauna, massage room and mineral baths. The town is also home to the 150-year old Matchmaking Festival, which takes place every year during September.

Thank you for your feedback James. We are sincerely sorry to hear about the disruption to your stay at Farmhouse and, more importantly, your wedding. Unfortunately this was due to a power cut in the local area caused by a storm and was therefore out of the property owner's control. I can see, however, that we have since been in contact with the property owner and agreed to provide a partial refund to contribute towards the cost of your alternative accommodation.
