Home description
The flat is part of a building from the18th century on a 5th floor where Lisbon will lie at your feet!
From here you can just watch the perfect geometry of the Baixa Pombalina and the chaotic "village" built during the latest century on top of the roofs of the buildings. You can see people shopping or just passing by Rua Augusta, the main commerce street in Lisbon, a street only for pedestrians. From the sitting room you can also see the Santa Justa Elevator, built on the XIX century, that takes you to Carmo and then to Bairro Alto. From the window on the upperflor you can see Castelo de São Jorge, the Lisbon Castle, all lighted by night.
From the apartment, you will be a few steps away from the “Rossio” (Lisbon´s main square) and “Chiado” and “Bairro” Alto district. To the other side of the flat, and less then 5 minutes walking, you have “Praça do Comercio” (the big square in front of the river), and also “Sé” (the Cathedral, one of the major religious sites of the capital). The Miradouro of Santa Luzia, just in front of Largo das Portas do Sol, is only a few hundreds of metres away, so is the sector of Alfama in its vicinity of the Tagus.
Suite with a view to the Castle!
On the main street at Downtown Lisbon!!!
Spacious, stylished and comfortable siting room (35m2)

The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region
Lisbon is one of the European cities attracting the most tourists. The Lisbon coast is the coast of the capital city and its important suburbs. Boasting springtime temperatures during the winter, and cool summers freshened by a breeze blowing in from the Atlantic, Costa de Lisboa, on the southwestern coast, offers a rich and impressively integrated diversity.
To Cascais you can take the train at Cais do Sodré Train Station (you can walk from the apartment since it is just one subway station way) The trip is fantastic with the railway track going along the coast giving you a great view of the sea. Ideal for water sports like sailing, surfing and kitesurfing on the Cascais coast. You can also go for surfing on the Caparica beaches.
You can take the train on Rossio train station. In Sintra visit the Palácio da Pena or Quinta da Regaleira. Sintra is ideal for tracking or mountain biking. Alternatively take the subway and go to Parqiue das Nações (the new part of the city), in the summer you can take the train and go to the beach in Carcavelos.
Lisbon / Central Lisbon area

You can listen to our traditional song "Fado" on the Alfama quarter or in Bairro Alto, you can stroll on the Baixa shopping area, amaze yourself with the fantastic monuments of the city, for example, Castelo de São Jorge (from the XI century), you can also visit the bothanic garden or the Rossio square which is the centre of the city and Praça do Comércio near to the Tagus. All this within a 5-10 minutes walking distance from the apartment.
Places to visit include, S Jorge Castle, Sé cathedral, Alfama, Bairro Alto where you can hear Fado. Jeronimos, torre de Belém, etc...
Visit the several places of interest: monuments, parks, museums, churches... or just walk around and enjoy the typical buildings and narrow streets.

Guestbook for Home in Lisbon
Dear Miguel:
With all our appreciated, we would like to give the best recommend to your flat in Lisbon.
I and other five friends had a very nice time in Lisbon, and i even can't find any word to express how much we like the Lisbon.
I asked my friends which place you are more interested in Lisbon? They all said: the best thing in Lisbon is our flat. We enjoyed a lot in your flat.( we played the cards, watched the movies, and listened the music in the morning). The situation of your flat is just central of lisbon, it is so convenience to go everywhere.
Everything in your apartment looks so great, we all like so much:)) We will defiantly rent that flat in future, and highly recommend this to all of friends. ( we will write the best recommend in the website of your flat, please provide us where we should write our commends).
Anyway, we cleaned up all the house when we left , I believe Mrs. Gerogiana and her boyfriend will be satisfied with our performance:))
