Home description

The apartment is located in the heart of Lisbon, riverside area, in the newly hip district of Alcântara.We call it “riverside”.
Next to Lisboa Congress Centre (500 metres).
Fast public transports connections take you to Bairro Alto, Alfama, Chiado.
Although the apartment has no river view, riverbank is in walking distance (600 metres).
It is possible to ride or walk along the river to Tower of Belém and Jerónimos Monastery, Marina and Docks of Alcantara with lots of amusing bars, restaurants and vibrant nightlife
If you intend to go to the beach, you can easily take the train in Alcântara Station and you will be in Estoril, Cascais or Sintra in minutes!
Lots of commerce and conveniences (supermarket, church, hospital, Police Headquarter, banks).
The apartment is recently fully remodeled, in accordance with the recent rules of comfort and safety and with excellent thermic conditions due to a proper traditional conception with convenient orientation and good solar exposition, very fresh in the summer and warm in winter.
Additionally, it is a secure area: in a few metres away from the apartment, there’s the High School of Police.

The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region

Alcântara its a neigbourhood situated in riverside area, between Baixa and Belém. The apartment is located right next to the impressive Ponte 25 de Abril bridge, witch crosses the Rio Tejo to the Cristo Rei monument.
The charismatic yellow tram 15, connecting Baixa to Belém, drives by house door in 1º de Maio street.

Cais do Sodré metro station ( 800metres).

Master bedroom with a 160x200 bed ( convertible in two single 80x200 beds)
Second bedroom with one single bed and another pull-out single bed.This bedroom is also shared with meals area.

Both bedrooms are in the quiet back area of the house, that connects to a calm backyard, so practically we don't listen to any noise from the street in this areas.
The house has security lockers and doorways .
We can provide a cot.

There is a public parking outside, but, unless you intend to travel, you don´t need a car in Lisbon.
Bus and yellow tram stops with a lot of connections nearby (50 metres)
In 1º de Maio street : Church, Supermarket, restaurants, cofee shop, pharmacy, and other conveniences.
