It is located on the waterfront of the River Tagus at 1km from the longest bridge in Europe, the Vasco da Gama Bridge and five minutes walk away from the Vasco da Gama Tower and Cable car (Three must see attractions in Lisbon).

Very close to all of Lisbon’s main transportation connecting you to all of the remaining attractions in the city.

Places to visit:

St. George Castle - Castelo - Breathtaking Views

Mosteiro dos Jerónimos - Belém - This is a Manueline masterpiece with intricate decoration and peaceful large spaces.

Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga - Lapa - The first-class National Museum of Ancient Art is housed in a 17th-century palace

Oceanário - Parque das Nações (Expo98) - Big Fish Fun - «Europe's largest aquarium, boasts over 25,000 fish, birds and mammals.

Pena's Palace - Sintra - «A very beautiful fairy tale palace.

Beaches - With an extended coastline, Lisbon District has many white sand, blue water beaches, which are only a few minutes driving and easy to reach by public transports.

On the northeastern riverfront, the Parque das Nações was built for Expo 98. The development includes a huge world-of-its-own aquarium, the Oceanário, plus the Pavilhão do Conhecimento, and a landscaped riverside park with restaurants and bars. There's some stunning modern architecture here: the ribbed Death Star structure of Gare do Oriente and the Pavilhão de Portugal by Portugal's leading architect, Álvaro Siza Vieira.

A riverside teleférico, more than 1km long and 20m high, gives stunning views of the river and the Vasco da Gama bridge. The 2km-long park site sometimes feels as if you have wandered into an architectural model, but it's an entertaining place to visit, particularly for families.

A minitrain trundles around hourly, and you can even rent bikes. Take the metro to Gare do Oriente and walk through the Centro Vasco da Gama to the park's main Posto de Informação, with free maps and information.
