The Neighborhood

Príncipe Real is the most charming neighborhood in Lisbon, enchanted with a beautiful garden and some exotic trees, where a hundred-year-old cedar provides the most famous shade of Lisbon.

Here you are in a very quiet square and also in a very alive district, placed near a nightlife area (Bairro Alto). But it is quiet by night, you can also hear the sound of silence.

The neighborhood offers you a huge variety of bars, gay bars, restaurants, clubs, groceries and gourmet boutiques, coffee shops and kiosks, art galleries, antique shops, luxurious and fashion designers stores.

It is an area in constant sprouting of novelties in every corner.

Here is a perfect place to come for a short stay and discover the authentic Lisbon lifestyle.

CAN'T MISS:

?

The vibrant night life of Bairro Alto and the sprouting energy of Príncipe Real;

??The kiosks in the main garden and the restaurants;

?The market of biological agriculture products, every saturday in the garden;

?The amazing shops nearby.

"Lisbon is rightly known as a trove of charming backstreets and terraced bistros, but none of its neighborhoods are more alive than Príncipe Real, a shopper's Shangri-la of design and clothing stores interspersed with cute cafés. "

Why Lisbon?

It's a magical kind of place that I find as beautiful as Paris but not so jaded and well-trodden. There's a freshness about the colours of the city, and a freshness about the people, who are incredibly warm and welcoming. And I like its lack of pretension. I think it's the perfect city for a short spring break. (Elizabeth McGovern)

Lisbon was voted best European city for 'city breaks', short trips with only one city as a destination in the World Travel Awards (WTA), a distinction that the Portuguese capital has already obtained three times in the last five years.

Lisbon is also the 1st of 5 remarkably affordable travel destinations, according to Forbes.

With the façades of many of its buildings decorated with azulejos–tiles painted in flowery, intricate blue designs – Lisbon rivals the beauty of many other European capitals, and you'll pay about 20% less for lodging.

Lisbon, one of the world's friendliest locals and the top for best value for money. (Tripadvisor)

The good weather and long days are an irresistible invitation to discover and experience the city with a relaxed and leisurely walk of its seven hills, taking breaks at the various sightseeing spots along the way. The viewpoints of Graça, Senhora do Monte, Santa Luzia, São Jorge Castle or São Pedro de Alcantara are just some of the scenic spots of Lisboa, where you can admire the most beautiful panoramic views of the Portuguese capital, also known as "Cidade da Luz Branca" (City of White Light).

Lisbon

Príncipe Real, Lisbon's aristocratique area, and one of the most European beautiful cities

We are right next to Príncipe Real's garden and very close to Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara, Bairro Alto, Baixa and Chiado.

?

The neighborhood offers you a huge variety of bars, restaurants, clubs, gay clubs (Príncipe Real is the most gay friendly area of Lisbon), groceries and coffee shops. Here you are in a very quiet square and also in a very alive district with several bars and clubs, and the area with the most antique shops and galleries.

It is a very quiet environment. Although it is placed near a party area (Bairro Alto), it is very quiet by night, you can also hear the sound of silence.

Here is a perfect place to discover the authentic Lisbon lifestyle. And you can walk everywhere, you are in the heart of Lisbon.

Lisbon is rightly known as a trove of charming backstreets and terraced bistros, but none of its neighborhoods are more alive than Príncipe Real, a shopper's Shangri-la of design and clothing stores interspersed with cute cafés.
