A dinning room and two double bedrooms all you need to fill as it were your home.
You can also enjoy moments of pure relaxation and leisure in the very beautiful terrace where you can enjoy a good meal, a nap, or a beautiful sunbathing, interspersed with cold outdoor shower baths ... all thinking of you ... enjoy life!
Situated in the heart of Fado in Alfama, near the Museum of Fado, the national pantheon, flea market, castle also the river and its many bars / nightclubs, restaurants and terraces ... a little paradise to discover and enjoy! Near varied stores near all transportation (less than 50 m): metro, trains, bus, etc.
"This quaint medieval district (once the Moorish and Jewish quarter before it became a fishing community) is like a small village. It stands as a time capsule to the years before Lisbon was destroyed by the 1755 earth quake, as it remained standing thanks to its rock-solid foundations.
Put away your map and wander aimlessly through its "becos" (alleys) and "largos" (small squares), allowing your senses to be the guides. You'll see laundry out to dry from balconies and magnificent views of the river, smell fish being grilled in a corner, hear the sounds of Fado coming out of a restaurant, taste some authentic traditional meals, and touch some dazzling tile work. Set in a visually stunning hill, this is Lisbon at its most picturesque and the very soul of the city.
Life here continues much as it has for centuries, but walk down towards the river and you're once again in modern times."

"Very good week"
Quartier très bien situé au coeur d'Alfama. Excellent souvenir de l'appartement, des gens, des lieux, des commerces. Nous a rendu le séjour à Lisbonne très agréable.

"Great time in Lisbon and Alfama"
We have spent splendid time, almost three weeks in Lisbon and specially in Alfama neighbourhood. We were there with our little kids (3,5 Years old and 8 month old baby) and apartment as well as city is great to visit for holidays. Accommodation is well equipped with all what is needed to stay longer, either with kids (babies bad and chair is there) as well as washing machine, place to dry out clothes (we haven't used much of terrace for other activities, but in summer must be a great place to have some great leisure). Family friendly. Apartment was clean and warmed up by gas heater- for us in winter it was very important, and in old part of town there is no central heating installations. There is everything according as described by Sandra livingroom, two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, terrace- everything freshly refitted and made with good taste and quality. In close neighbourhood public transport (200m to bus stop- you may get from there directly to Rossio 734, children hospital Estefania 712), 5 minutes walk to metro (Santa Apolonia) or tram stop (legendary tram No 28). You may get to centre (Alfama is either in centre ;)) to Baixa in 15-20 min walk. Most of visiting places is by the way. Great location. Nearby is market place famous Feira de Ladra. Within 50 m. from apartment is minimercado, butcher shop, bakery, restaurants (with Fado live) and pastelerias. Area is safe and quite (in Lisboa standard off course :)) people are getting sleep late, but only talking people you may hear with open windows), people are friendly and helfull. 5 minutes walk from apartment is safe place to park a car (we have left a car for all holidays and evrything was fine- as we have driven somewhere, we found the same place again- free of charge- it is a little square in front of Panteon at Campo Santa Clara. The Host, Sandra is very open, helpful and trustworthy person. Always had a time to answer our questions and helped us many time. We have found new friend. For sure we will be back many times to Lisboa, Alfama, and Sandras Apartment. Great apartment, great location... only so little time ;)
