Welcome to Flowers Apartment, a charming and comfortable apartment placed in a centenary building of Principe Real area.
Located in a historic neighborhood of Lisbon, it's a few steps away from Praça das Flores, between Principe Real and the Parliament.
In 15 minutes walking distance you can reach the glamorous Avenida da Liberdade, the downtown (Baixa), Chiado, Rossio and the Tagus River.
Bairro Alto is just aside of Principe Real, which means that in less than 10 minutes you can enjoy Fado or have a drink in one of the hundreds of bars.
The metro station of Rato is 10 minutes walking distance or 3 minutes by bus and the Yellow Bus tours stop just in front of Amalia House museum, a few meters away from the apartment.
The apartment is set on a XVIII century's building, which was recently redecorated and updated but still has some old elements that are being kept for centuries, like the wood windows and the balconies made of wrought iron.
It's the perfect choice for those who prefer staying in a quiet area with a true traditional neighborhood feeling, but close enough from all facilities and touristic attractions.
The morning light offer you a pleasant breakfast while enjoying a bit of sunshine on the balcony.
The area is typically Lisboeta and is safe. The prime minister house is a few blocks away and many politicians and journalists live around here.
The streets covered with cobbledstones, sparrows and blackbirds singing and sometimes parrots as well, create a beautiful atmosphere and make you forget that you are very close from the city center!
The apartment hosts comfortably 2 people but fit in maximum 4 people.
The apartment is placed on the 1st floor, with some steep steps and there is no elevator in this kind of traditional buildings. Therefore, is not suitable for wheelchair users or people with mobility difficulties.

"Nice apartment in a picturesque area"
We stayed in this apartement for one week and liked it a lot. It is well equipped, located in a picturesque and lively area with lots of nice restaurants around, close to the metro, bus station and tram, but also close enough to the center to walk. In addition, we got a lot of helpful tips and advices for our stay by the very nice person who took care of the apartment. A great place to stay in a wonderful city. Fully recommended.

"Made special by the manager"
The location is perfect. Close to everything you could want or need, from public transport to local restaurants to shopping districts.
The apartment is cosy, charming and in very good condition. We had a couple of slight problems that were fixed during our stay.
The real draw is Joana, the apartment manager. We had an unfortunate incident on our first day, and found ourselves without phones or money. Joana went far above and beyond the call of duty, helping us at every step and ensuring that we got everything back on track. This is in addition to the wealth of advice she provided, her expert knowledge of the area (she even e-mails you her own guide with Google Maps directions to each location) and of course her cheery disposition! We owe our holiday to her.

"Peaceful and convenient"
Joana is a great host! My flight to Lisbon arrived very early in the morning, and she arranged an early check-in for me since the apartment was already available. Upon arrival, she walked me though a map of the area, explained what was around the neighborhood, and she made sure the apartment had everything I needed. She even helped me look into some sailing classes at a local sailing school!
The apartment is located in a peaceful neighborhood and is convenient to everything: bars, restaurants, pastelarias, gardens, the train station, and shopping. Once I learned my way around, I was able to easily walk almost everywhere rather than using the metro! The apartment was very clean and well-maintained just like the pictures show.
I will definitely stay here again next time I come to Lisbon. Thanks Joana!
