The Space

Finally refurbished on end of this July, in a fashion directly connected with the two major emotions the place in general evokes on us, even if they could eventually seem quite different, intense joy and deep peacefulness. May the "feels" speak for it selves and whisper you all the rest...

And it has to offer you:

- 1 living room in wooden floor, with a sofa for 3, and 2 other confortable individual chairs, TV, a dinning table with chairs for 4 (openable for 6)

- 1 double bedroom, with double bed, that comunnicates to the bathroom (through a door), the kitchen and the lobby

- 1 double bedroom, with double bed, that comunnicates to the living room

- 1 bedroom with a bunk bed

- 1 bathroom with shower and hairdryer

- 1 kitchen with fridge, microwaves, electric stove, coffee machine and other kitchen devices.

If you want to wash your clothes, there´s also a washing machine for clothes, an iron and an iron board.

Tv set with national and international cable channels.

Dvd, with an usb input.

High-speed wireless internet.

Bed linen and towels provided.

The Neighborhood

Situated in a very small street, sharing the field with "Palácio das Necessidades" (the old king´s palace and residence and from de beginning of the XX century on, the headquarters of the ministry of foreign affairs), some of the city most expensive modern apartments and small old local houses, has to offer on the surroundings at walking distance:

- Several small typical restaurants and cafes

- Many little grocery stores

- Hospital and pharmacy

- One of the biggest and most well-know parks of the city: "Tapada das Necessidades" (7 min. walking) and "Jardim da Estrela" (10 min. by bus)

- The riverfront, the marina (10 min walking), and "Docas" (the well-known riverfront bars and restaurant area) (15min. walking)

- Museums: museum of the East (12 min. walking), and National Museum of Ancient Art (10 min. walking):

- Campo de Ourique (Place of some of the best small neighborhood shops and the nowadays city restaurants) (15 min. walking):

- Buses to almost every part of the town, including the train to go "Cascais" (8min. by bus) and several well-known beaches.

Two trams and eight different buses, allow a fast and easy connection to all the possible destinations of the city, including the metro and the train (to the beach), reachable in less than 10 minutes.

The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region

- The riverfront, the marina (10 min walking), and "Docas" (the well-known riverfront bars and restaurant area) where is also possible to ride bicycles and rent them (15 min. walking), start a sailing sight- seeing tour, by boat or by an amphibious large vehicle (called the hippotrip) that make the delights of (not just) the children!

- Museums: museum of the East (12 min. walking), and National Museum of Ancient Art (10 min. walking):

- Campo de Ourique (Place of some of the best small neighborhood shops and the nowadays city restaurants) (15 min. walking):

- Buses to almost every part of the town, including the train to go "Cascais" (8min. by bus) and several well-known beaches.

For guests arriving by car, or planning to rent one, it can be possible to park the car freely for the whole stay, at 1 minute walking from the apartment.
