Home description
Claudya's home was the first house built after the 1755 eath quake, and again rebuilt in 2002. The front of the building remains as the original one and belongs to "UNESCO PATRIMONIO". Claudya's home was lately rent some TV séries because of it's historical and traditional interest.

The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region
Spreading across hills on the north bank of the Tagus estuary, the city is proud of its days of glory during the Age of Discovery, as can be seen in such monuments as the Mosteiro dos Jerónimos, a magnificent monastery from the 16th century, or the Torre de Belém, a tower built as a fortress near the river Tagus that became a symbol of the Portuguese era of expansion.
Many other historic monuments and museums are worth visiting, such as the Castelo de São Jorge (once a Moorish castle with superb views over the city), the Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga (a national art collection within a 17th century palace), the Cathedral and churches such as São Vicente de Fora.
Lisbon / Alfama area
Old and fascinating quarters with picturesque houses and narrow streets, such as Alfama and Bairro Alto, now exhibit fashionable restaurants and bars or the fado houses, where this typical music of Lisbon is sung acompanied by guitars.
How to get there
By taxi:
Claudya’s home is in Alfama, in the historical centre of Lisbon. The access by car is limited. Only resident cars are allowed to enter. The visitors who come by taxi must tell to the driver to ask permission to enter in Alfama to unload some luggage in Rua da Adiça.

Further details indoors: Claudya's home is in Alfama, placed in the historical part of Lisbon. On the left hand side we can watch Sé Cathedral and from behind the Castle of St. Jorge. We stay exactly in the street to view point of Sta. Lúzia. In view point you can enjoy a wonderful view over the river Tejo. Alfama is a typical neighbourhood were you take good Portuguese food while listenning the FADO, an old traditional Portuguese song. Late night you will find the best bars an Discos of Lisbon spreaded along the boulevard.
Further details outdoors: Claudya's home is 5 minutes away from the centre of the city, Baixa. There you can find all the transports, Metro, Bus, Bus Tour, Boat or Train to go abroad.
