The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region

Lisbon is blessed with the famous portuguese weather, you can have sunny days all year round. Thanks to its privileged orientation sun gets in every street, and you can gaze the river from every corner. It is so near the sea you can get to the beach in 20 minutes for a summer day or a nice walk in the winter. Lovely Sintra village is only 12 km away and it is very easy to go there by train, as well as to Cascais and many other beautiful and historic places.

Lisbon / Central Lisbon area

The apartment is located in the city centre with a wide range of nearby available activities : theaters, museums, botanic garden, shops, typical cafes, restaurants with fresh fish and sea food by the river, fado houses where you can enjoy a pleasant meal listening to the popular portuguese music. Or just seat at an open air cafe enjoying the view of the Lisbon Castle or the Tejo river. You can easily get to the ferry and cross the river, or take the train to Cascais . Among many other attractions, there’s a new casino and an oceanarium in the Expo area (you can get there by subway or cab).

-Cheap flights with, for instance, www.easyjet.com, www.ryanair.com or www.monarch.com
The Lisbon International Aeroport is very close to the city centre where the flat is located (Bairro Alto)-about 9 km
-By cab it takes 10 min. to get there for no more than 15 euros with the luggage. There are always local taxis available.
-You can rent a car with www.avis.pt ; www.hertz.com
There are several affordable parking facilities nearby.
Anyway : in Lisbon it’s easy to go around without a car !

Fans provided for a fresh summer and heaters for a warm winter (although in Lisbon the weather is always quite mild). Every room has lots of light, direct sunshine. Situated on the 2nd floor (not very high), with two balconies. Fully equipped bathroom and kitchen (stove/oven, fridge/freezer, washing machine, coffee machine, orange juice machine…)

Conveniently located at the heart of Lisbon’s hottest area – Bairro Alto. Enjoy typical portuguese meals in any of the many nearby restaurants - every Lisbon local has a favourite one in this neighbourhood ! Fado houses, bars with all types of music, from jazz to pop. Very central spot, near everything : subway, ferry, pharmacy, shops, police station, groceries. Close-by garden perfect for children to play, walk a dog, or seat and stay peacefully. Enjoy mornings or sunsets over the river at great and very nearby sightseeing spots.

Further details

-The payment of the reservation (50%) which is not refundable must be made by bank transfer (we supply the details by e-mail confirmation);
-When you arrive you must leave a deposit of 100 euros, which the owner will keep until the keys are returned to him and are no damages;
-The payment must be made in cash and beforehand, when the keys are handeover;
-The person who occupy the apartment must hand over a copy of their identity card;
-Deposits are not refundable

Conditions
