About the home

Ideal for two or four, couples or parents with kids, this apartment with a couple bedroom, a cosy lounge with a sofabed and a dining table, is placed in the heart of historic Lisbon.
If you are a walker, you literaly can foot every where from your front door, cross old streets and see custom buildings all around you. After a good breakfast in the house or in one of the many bakeries nearby, go for a walk throught the bright streets and squares, breathing history on every corner. Choose a balcony to lunch, rest on the many viewpoints spread all over the city, eat portuguese food while listening to Fado and after...pick a bar on the plenty neighbourhood.

In 50/100m you have bus, taxi, tram and underground stops. 1Km further you can find the train station that leads you to Estoril and Cascais (with a splendid river and seaside view). You have the nearest beach in 7km, just get on the train and you will find several beaches between Oeiras and Cascais. Nearby you can find antique or trendy shops, as well as typical groceries, bakeries and restaurants.

The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region

Known as the seven hills city, Lisbon is placed allong the Rio Tejo, offering you plenty of attractions. Explore the World Heritage architectural marvels, the Jeronimos Monastry and Belem Tower, the museums, the churches, the narrow streets, the medieval Alfama. Enjoy portuguese fresh pastry and the bica (coffee), stop at the viewpoints spread all over the city. You can also find plenty of restaurants in Bairro Alto where you can eat portuguese food while listening to fado. Just outside Lisbon, there’s more to explore: the magical setting of Sintra, glorious beaches and traditional fishing villages.

The best option to reach our apartment from Lisbon airport is by taxi, but you can also use the bus. Once settled, you can either walk or use a public transport like bus, subway or tram. Bairro Alto is located in the centre of the city, so you can easily reach all the historical places and monuments from there.
If you want to rent a car, I usualy recomend Hertz. You can find them at the airport or in the city centre (Rua Castilho).
