With a fantastic view to the Rio Tejo and just a few minutes from Lisbon's famous outdoor market, the Ladra House is a true experience of the lisbon way of living. Located in the Alfama district, you can explore this old medieval and pituresque neighbourhood, it’s shops, taverns and great monuments like São Jorge Castle, National Pantheon and São Vivente de Fora Convent.
Nearby you can find Sta. Apolónia Station (subway and train station).

The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region

Known as the seven hills city, Lisbon is placed allong the Rio Tejo, offering you plenty of attractions. Explore the World Heritage architectural marvels, the Jeronimos Monastry and Belem Tower, the museums, the churches, the narrow streets, the medieval Alfama. Enjoy portuguese fresh pastry and the bica (coffee), stop at the viewpoints spread all over the city. You can also find plenty of restaurants in Bairro Alto where you can eat portuguese food while listening to fado. Just outside Lisbon, there’s more to explore: the magical setting of Sintra, glorious beaches and traditional fishing villages.

The best option to reach our apartment from Lisbon airport is by taxi, but you can also use the bus. Once settled, you can either walk or use a public transport like bus, subway or tram. The apartment is located in the centre of the city, so you can easily reach all the historical places and monuments from there.
If you want to rent a car, I usualy recomend Hertz. You can find them at the airport or in the city centre (Rua Castilho).
