Modern first floor apartment of 100 m2, living room/dining room, fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with double beds, two bathrooms, balcony overlooking the sea. There is heating/air conditioning throughout. Set in the historical cobble streets of Paço d'Arcos and surrounded by restaurants, local shops, typical bakeries & coffee shops and a lovely park.

The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region
Lisbon is an all-year-round destination. Summers, whilst warm are rarely oppressive and the cooling sea breeze keeps it comfortable even during the summer months. Very mild winters mean you can enjoy your short break in the winter sun in Lisbon. The town of Sintra is a close-by World Heritage Site and well worth a day's visit. Lisbon has lots to delight, from taking in an old electric tram up the steep hills of Lisbon to whizzing up to the top of the Santa Justa Elevator to get a panoramic view of the city of Lisbon. Do visit Alfama (the old quarter) and the Bairro Alto is great for restaurants. Be sure to wear comfortable rubber soled shoes to avoid slipping on the cobbles. June 12th is the night of the Festival of St Anthony. The best night for trying traditional sardines in Lisbon. Go by tram - #15 is the best - to Belem. It leaves from Praca Figueira and stops at Praca do Comercio and Cais do Sodre before going on to Belem - a wonderful place of fountains, parks and monuments and monasteries.
Lisbon / Paco d'Arcos area
Located in Paco d’Arcos, an attractive village with a traditional feel between Lisbon (6kms), and Estoril (6 kms). Paco d’Arcos has good local facilities, baker, butcher, supermarket, covered market and some very good restaurants which specialise in seafood. There is a small beach in front of the apartment and larger beaches within walking distance in either direction.

- Taxi from the airport should cost around €uros - Taxi to Cais do Sodre train station, then on the train to Paço d'Arcos train station. 200m walk through village to apartment.

The railway station is two hundred meters from the apartment for the train to Lisbon or Cascais and Estoril. A bakery on the doorstep will ensure your daily bread is warm . Local supermarket - close by for stocking up during your stay - is a very easy walk from the apartment. A small electric train runs from the local station to a modern shopping centre (2 kms) where you will find all the retails therapy you could want.
