About the home

If you're looking for a very well located apartment but also relaxing...then Apple Mint got to be you're choice. Apple Mint or Spear Mint.. for our luck, there are two "Mint" Apartments!

Apple Mint as two bedrooms with maximum capacity of 6 guests. One bedroom has a double bed and the other has two single beds. The fifth and sixth guests has a place to sleep on the sofa bed in the living room. The living room is wide and modern, the kitchen has been completely renovated. The bathroom is decorated in modern grey, has been completely redone, and is equipped with a shower.

But the must of this apartment is the private garden! It as a magnificent bougainvillea, a passion fruit tree and is filled with the scent of aromatic plants. There is a beautiful terrace all prepared for guests to enjoy their meals and a lounge area perfect for the sunbathes that Lisbon warm weather will provide to you.

Feel free to enjoy Apple Mint Apartment when you really gona need, when you're tired from visiting all the historical places..just around the corner! São Jorge's Castel, Sé Cathedral, secular flea market "Feira da Ladra", Santa Luzia's viewpoint or Baixa and Chiado.

The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region

Don't hesitate to book this two bedroom apartment, situated just above the Baixa and at the foot of the castle, the most visited monument in Portugal. To reach Limoeiro apartment you will need to take the steep street that goes by the same name but the effort is certainly worthwhile. The view that lies before you is breathtaking. You will also find yourself close to many cafés and restaurants, and will be able to access the Baixa and the main tourist city areas very easily, with the benefit of having the Castle and the Sé Cathedral at your doorstep to begin with! You will also be able to ride the famous #28 tram for a fantastic panoramic tour of the city.

In terms of climate, it is Mediterranean and pleasant...
Spring in Lisbon is very mild with high temperatures between 60 and 75 degrees F on most days. Morning low temperatures average in the fifties between March and May. Rainfall averages about 2 inches per month during the spring season. Beautiful days become more commonplace in May and many people begin to visit Portugal’s beaches.

Lisbon has bright, sunny and warm summers. June, July and August are very dry with monthly precipitation of less than 1/2-inch. The daily high temperatures are usually in the low to middle 80s. The hottest days of summer can be over 90 degrees F. Summer nights are pleasant with average lows in the 60s. Sea breezes off the Atlantic Ocean bring some relief on hot days.

Fall is a beautiful month in Lisbon with the leaves on many trees changing color. Temperatures drop from September’s average daily high of 81 degrees F to daily highs of 63 degrees F in November. Fall daily low temperatures are primarily in the 50s. Rainfall increases as the fall season progresses with a 1-inch September average and 4 inches of rainfall in November.

Lisbon has a distinct winter season, although it is not nearly as cold as northern Europe or the northern United States. Daytime highs average between 57 and 61 degrees and overnight lows are usually in the middle to upper 40s. Snow is rare in Lisbon, but morning frost can occur there. December and January are very rainy with around 4 inches falling per month. Rainfall decreases to about 2 inches in February.

From the Train Station (Santa Apolónia) - Pick a taxi is always a good solution (6 €). If you wanna go from public transports you can pick number 759 or number 28 until Fado's Museum and then 10min walking.

“Lovely apartment with a "sea view"” We had a very nice stay in this lovely decorated, spacious appartment in a central area of Lissabon. Everything was clean and practical, the kitchen was well equipped and we could use the washing machine and the dish washer freely. The house is on the hill, but thanks to the proximity to the legendary tram line 28, we could always reach the apartment with very little physical effort. From our apartment in the 1st floor, as well as from the terrace, we could also see the wide Tejo river, it was like having a sea view! We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely recommend this adress to our friends. Thanks, Monica!

“Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Appartement im Herzen von Lissabon” Ein komplett, modern, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Appartement. Vor einem Jahr wunderbar renoviert. Gut eingerichtete Küche, grosszügiger Wohnbereich, geräumiges Schlafzimmer (leider ohne Fenster). Aber das ist auch wirklich das einzige Manko. Monica empfängt einen mit ihr freundlichen, grosszügigen Art, dass man sich vom ersten Augenblick zu Hause fühlt. Falls es ein Wiedersehen mit Lissabon gibt, dann ganz bestimmt hier!!

Puedes bajar andando hasta el Barrio Bajo y Chiado, o si lo prefieres en Tranvía. Mis amigas y yo nunca tuvimos problemas para encontrar aparcamiento, y eso que fuimos en pleno mes de Julio. Sus dueñas son encantadoras, un placer haber dado con este sitio. Si estais dudando, dejad de hacerlo, es perfecto!"
