Beautiful 80 sqm apartment situated in Lisbon's historical Castle/Graca quarter. All rooms in the house have domeshaped ceilings. Exclusive pateo with BBQ facilities and outside relaxing and eating area. Located at the end of the famous 28 tram line. Residential area, with plenty of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Beautiful view over Lisbon from nearby viewpoint.

The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region

Portugal is known by nice weather all year round. Lisbon can be called one of the most fortunate cities still to be explored. With warm to hot weather from March until October. Surrounded by the Atlantic you can get to the beach in 20 minutes by car or public transport. Sintra is 12 km away and about 20 minutes by train.

Lisbon / Central Lisbon area

Alfama quarter - In Alfama, it is still possible to see Roman and Arab remains, two of the most dominant civilizations in Lisbon's past. There are narrow streets resulting from Muslim culture, guided by individualistic rules where public spaces are not important.

Castle - Saint George Castle is a magical place, a charming hilltop citadel with geese and ducks roaming around the castle gardens. Once used as a fortress, today it is home to many local families and a place that certainly deserves a visit.

Graça belvedere - This belvedere or 'miradouro' in Portuguese, is located at the top of Graça hill at the end of the tram 28 line. From here you will be able to see magnificent views of Lisbon. This wonderful vantage point will give you a unique insight into the city that has successfully merged the old and the new.

How to get there

- Fly cheap to Lisbon with www.easyjet.com , www.ryanair.com or www.monarch.com - they have great deals all year round
- The house is within a 10 min ride from the airport - EUR12/EUR15 max
- Alternatively take Aero Bus to Rossio Square and then take a taxi to the house

Although the apartment is set for 4 people the sofa bed in the living room can be used exceptionally for 1 or 2 extra people upon extra symbolic payment. The apartment has Internet access but no computer available. Laptops, etc can be easily connected.
