About the home

Apartment number 92 is located in the old city centre, at Chiado/Bairro Alto - place where a large part of the cultural, gastronomic and night-life of Lisbon takes place.

It is located on the 1st floor of a renovated building in old historic Lisbon.

The apartment has 75sqm and it has been recently renovated to include the following:
- one bedroom with double bed (140 cm);
- one living room with double sofa-bed, TV and hi-fi;
- complete kitchen with electric oven and gas stove, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, washing and dryer machine;
- a bathroom with bathtub
- a terrace with a table and chairs where you can take your meals.

* In wintertime the apartment is heated with electric heaters and it has air-conditioning in the bedroom

We will welcome you with a bottle of wine.

CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT
* Check-in is after 4 PM (You can always come after 11 to leave you luggage and get the keys, but if we have someone else leaving on the same day the apartment won't be ready before 4 PM).
* Check-out is until 11 AM.

Check-in Monday to Friday from 4 PM to 9:30 PM is free of charge, except on Portuguese public holidays.
Particular Situations:
- additional 30 Euro for check-in from 9:30 PM to 00:00 AM everyday;
- additional 45 Euro for check-in from 00:00 AM to 8:30 AM everyday;
- additional 25 Euro for check-in on Week-ends and on Portuguese public holidays till 9:30 PM.

LUGGAGE
On working days, you can leave the luggage in our office before 4 PM on the day of your check in and/or after 11 AM on the day of your check-out (fee: €3,00/suitcase).

The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region

Lisbon, the city of seven hills, has been the capital of Portugal since the 12th century. It has a long history that can be experienced in the old neighbourhoods, which may be visited by foot or tram. The Atlantic climate offers wonderful conditions to travel all year round.

Lisbon bears the mark of an incredible heritage with laid-back pride. The city also presents an intriguing variety of faces to those who negotiate its switchback streets. In the oldest neighbourhoods, stepped alleys are lined with pastel-colour houses and crossed by laundry hung out to dry; here and there miradouros (vantage points) afford spectacular river or city views. In the centre, black-and-white mosaic cobblestone side-walks border wide boulevards, and blue-and-white azulejos (painted and glazed ceramic tiles) adorn churches, restaurants, and fountains.

The Lisbon / Central Lisbon area

Apartment number 92 is located at Calçada do Duque, a street connecting Chiado and Bairro Alto. There are several other apartments at Bairro Alto.

It is located on a pedestrian street built over cobblestone stairs, one of the main characteristics of Lisbon's historic districts.

The flat is located at the side of largo do Carmo at Chiado, near a lot of trendy shops, two minutes walking to café Brasileira, very close to several museums, operas (S. Carlos), theatres (S. Luis) and churches and also to all the restaurants and bars of Bairro Alto where the sentimental 'fados' are still sung in certain restaurants and cafés. It is also 5 minutes walking to Rossio, the centre of Baixa, rebuilt after the earthquake of 1755.

Nearby you have the underground (Baixa-Chiado), and 15 minutes walking you access the train station (Cais do Sodré) to Cascais and all the beaches around.
