About the home

Charming home built on the 30's and repaired on the beginning of 2006. Apartment in on the 1st floor: Double room, a fully equipped american kitchen, dining/sitting room, bathroom, hall, store-room, three small balconies. Complete with furniture.
Suitable for seniors and children, family holidays! Walking to the best old historical Lisbon area, 15 minutes from airport and 20m to the beach! -direct bus and subway-Rossio and Restauradores station
The Apartment can be rent for individuals, groups or families by self catering accommodation. It's the best alternative to stay in Lisbon, more privacy, more comfortable accommodation, a home abroad.

When you arrive you must leave a deposit of 100 Euros, which the owner will keep until the keys are returned to him, and if the apartment does not show any damages.
The payment must be made in cash and beforehand, when the keys are handedover.
The persons who occupy the apartment must hand over a copy of their identity card.
Deposits are not refundable.

The Costa de Lisboa/Lisbon region

Located in a quiet neighbourhood where one can find the Italian and German embassies, the birthplace of Amália Rodrigues and the place where Luis de Camões is supposed to have lived his last days (Calçada de Santana, nº 139).
It is very close to the famous Bairro Alto, a nightlife area, which can be reached by walking down Rossio or by taking the “Elevador do Lavra”, the oldest funicular in Lisbon. This 120 year old elevator goes every 15 minutes down to Rua das Portas de Santo Antão, the location of many excellent fish restaurants as recommended by many city guides.

The Lisbon / Central Lisbon area

Located nearby are many small shops and restaurants, and is short walking distance from the other picturesque neighbourhoods of S. Jorge Castle, Alfama, Chiado, and Bairro Alto.
The area is served by 2 subway lines, numerous bus lines, and tram lines that will help you explore the city and nearby tourist sights such as Sintra and Cascais or the beaches around Caparica and the Estoril coast.

How wonnderful it was to arrive to this lovely apartment after 7 weeks in hotels. Most days walked though Jardim do Torel (at the end of the day) to downtown. Great cafe when you reached Avenida da Liberdade under the trees. The only way to see Lisbon is to walk because around every corner is another wonderful surprise. Catherine and David, Australia
