Liopetri is known for its golden beaches shelving gently into the Mediterranean. A much-loved retreat for both locals and visitors, the town has been alluring admirers from all over the world with its island flair and rich natural beauty. Just a step away from some of the finest beaches in Cyprus, but at the same time far away from the noise of the area's nightlife. Liopetri covers 10 miles of coastline that has sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. It is just a 3 min drive from the beach and a 25 min drive from Larnaca International Airport.

The Famagusta District
The apartment is situated just outside the main town and you can enjoy the quiet and relaxing atmosphere, but if you prefer the to rock the night away the lively resort sof Protaras, Paralimni and picturesque Fig Tree Bay are just 10 minutes away. For youngsters the dazzling nightlife of Aiya Napa is 15 to 20 minutes away by bus, taxi or car. Further afield are the historic towns of Limassol, Larnaca and the island's capital, Nicosia; each of which is a fascinating mix of old and new, with shops, markets, bars and restaurants, as well as museums and ancients sites. The cool, pine-clad Troodos Mountains shouldn't be missed. Here you can sample a quiet rural way of life in isolated mountain villages. This is a fine place for walkers too. Views over the city of Famagusta and the crystal waters of Famagusta Bay are accessible just a few minutes from the apartment.
Trips into northern Cyprus can be arranged and the island is a good base for tours to Egypt and the Holy Land. The climate here is fantastic, with hot sunny weather guaranteed from April to October. Cyprus boasts of blue sky and sunshine 360 days of the year. While peak season temperatures regularly hit 80 and 90 degrees, low season temperatures are mild but doesn't usually fall below 55 till February.
Liopetri area
The town of Liopetri is self-contained and has a variety of shops, banks, post office, pharmacies and traditional taverns. The resorts and fabulous beaches of Ayia Napa and Protaras are only a short drive away and offer all the facilities and watersports you would expect to find in established resort areas. The main town of Paralimni is also close by with a larger selection of shops and supermarkets.
The main attraction of Liopetri, Potamos Liopetriou, is a 'time stood still' photogenic inlet and is where the local fishermen bring in their catch with some of the best fish on the island! Why not relax at one of the two fish taverns over looking the river and sea with views across to Cape Greco in the East, with a spot of secluded sunbathing in the afternoon on the white beaches!

Water park 3.5 miles. Water sports 3.5 miles (Dome Beach). Protaras tourist area 12 miles. Fig Tree Bay 14 miles. Cape Greko National Park 15 miles. A Taxi to Ayia Napa is about 15 euros each way.
How to get there
The resort is located North East of Larnaca Airport around 40km away and should take you no more than 30 minutes. Larnaca can be reached by most major Airports including Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton, Stansted, Manchester, Newcastle, Bristol.
