Guest house | 1 bedrooms | sleeps 2
The guest house is one of the few remaining oldfashioned lava stone made building originally used as store for agricultural activities. It is located, togheter with our own house, in a natural reserve on the western side of the island at the foot of a vulcano (not in activity since). and very near a bay. Sea shores are made of lava rocks and can be reached from the guest house in five minuts. Sea waters of course ar clean and transparent . The guest house is provided with a verandah where kitchen facilities and dining table are available. The interior is composed of a living/dining room, a bed room and a bath room.
Forniture is original from the XIX century with sofas and carpets from Afghanistan. The village is 15 minuts walking. No roads or people passing by. Lots ow walking itineraries, some within the wild part of the island , near the guest house.
This is a perfect stay for people loving quiteness nature, and sea . For more information you may visit the web site: www.isoladilinosa.com.

The Sicily region
Linosa is a small Island located in the middle of the Sicily Channel about 180 km from the south coast of Sicily and 50 km for the main island Lampedusa and 120 km from Malta Been vulcanic with several elevated craters the scenaries are beatifull and ever changing The island is still unspoiled , surrounded by a deep blue sea rich of sub tropical flora and fauna. The place is very quite, cars ar few as the people only 400. Tourism is also limited by the distance from the main land and for lack of mondane amenities as discos. Average temperature in summer is about 26-28 degrees Celsius mitigated by breeze and, sometimes wind. There are no hotels but you can find good accomodation in private houses.
If you are looking for relax and sea activities with sunshine throughout and pleasant walking this is the place for you.
The most important place in the region is Agrigento, a town on the main land linked to Linosa by ferry. The area boasts a number of ancient Greek temples and an archeological museum very well arranged. A visit to Agrigento is a must. The main island , Lampedusa is much more touristic with plenty of restaurants and hotel, A modern airport provide links with several towns including Palermo, a unique town rich in art, history and traditions.
