Hi Ozge, thank you for your review. I'm pleased you enjoyed the house and the nearby woodland walk. I'm so sorry you didn't find the double-bed very comfortable. It's a new bed with a medium mattress and I realise it may not be suitable for everyone. I'm grateful for your comment about the curtains in the front bedroom. I hadn't actually thought about the morning sunshine streaming in (when we get sunshine!) so I will look to change the curtains very soon. It was a pleasure to meet you both and I do hope we meet again in the future.
Best wishes, Joyce

"Comfortable home with great access to Edinburgh, Stirling & Glasgow, amongst others"
The owners of this property have done an incredible job making it a tasteful, comfortable, and very well-equipped holiday rental. We stayed here in January 2014 with our three young children. Joyce had absolutely everything we needed, including a generous stock of essentials in the kitchen as well as a roaring fire to welcome us. The decor is stylish and the bedding and linens were some of the most comfortable we've ever had whilst on holiday! We chose Ecclesmachan because of a wedding we were to attend in Stirling, and also hoped to visit Edinburgh. Both were very easy to drive to, and the village of Linlithgow also has much to offer. As a family with young kids, we are always very appreciative of conscientious home owners who think of the small things. Joyce and Dave certainly fit the bill!
