The best stay i have had .When you go and stay somewhere the place might not be up to scratch so the host makes up for it but here the host's are 101 % and the place was 101% if you are wanting a brill place to stay in luxury and brill hosts stay here there is a train line nearby but you don't know its there . the description makes it sound compact but it is like you have read the wrong description as it is huge in most self catering appartments they look worn and kitchen utensils are missing or don't match here it is like brand new and everything is there for cooking would recomend to all try it and you won't be disapointed |

Review Submitted: September 13, 2011 Date of Stay: September 2011 We went for a 3 night stay in this luxurious, 2 bedroom chalet with the purpose of touring Scotland and ended up regretting that we did not have more time to spend within the lodge itself. Set in quite, peaceful, beautiful surroundings, the facilities at the property were more than we could ask for. All that would be needed was provided. And the cleanliness would be upto anyone's standards. Met the listing descriptions to a T. Warm and caring owners simply top off the package. Definitely recommend this. BROWN Review Submitted: April 5, 2011 Date of Stay: April 2011 "I have just spent 3 wonderful nights at Raziehill Farm Chalet and cannot recommend it highly enough. The accommodation is tastefully decorated to a high standard and we had a surprise welcome pack which was a lovely touch - Sherie Ann and Michael made us feel at home and were on hand if we needed anything. The kitchen is well equipped and includes a fridge, cooker, microwave and dishwasher. We had everything we needed and were encouraged to let the owners know if anything else was required. The bathroom contained a double base walk-in shower with directional water jets, a sink and toilet. The towels were of a high quality and the big bath mat absorbant. A washing machine and tumble drier are neatly tucked away out of sight along with mop, brush etc. The living area is very comfortable - lovely sofas with big cushions and fluffy wraps. We were lovely and warm too - it's very easy to contol the heating temperature. Double doors lead to a patio area and a barbeque is provided. TVs are provided in the bedrooms and living room, and it was a pleasant surprise to find an ipod docking station incorporated into the CD player. The Chalet is located very conveniently between Glasgow and Edinburgh with easy motorway access. There is a train line which runs at the back of the estate and although we could see trains passing by now and again, we couldn't hear them - it was very quiet as it's an electric line. The train station is close by and there's plenty of parking available there making train access very easy. There is a beautiful view of the Scottish counryside from the bedrooms, and there were 3 Shetland ponies and a sheep in the field next to the Chalet which add to the charm of the place. We used the double bedroom - very comfortable bed, lovely bedding & lighting. I'd definitely recommend this property - it's very clean, well-maintained, great facilities, and suitable for all ages. There's an Indian Takeaway close by and the food was delicious. We were happy to stay in because the chalet was so lovely. We took the opportunity to walk around the perimeter of the adjacent woodlands - recommend wellies as the ground was soggy in places. A great place to get away for peace & quiet. We took the opportunity to have personal fitness training with Sherie Ann which was fantastic and we're keeping up our exercise routine every morning now. We'll definitely visit again - a great base to explore Scotland."
